Great find on Amazon. I needed a new air filter that I could cut to fit for a good price. Found it on Amazon!!!

These foam panels are great at blocking out the cold air in the winter. We just put them up with a little bit of duct tape over the plastic panels. Installation took about 10 minutes. It was slightly difficult to cut the plastic bars to shape (we used a bread knife) but the installation was fairly easy. We were able to just use 1 package of foam but if you have a big gap between the air conditioner and the window (on the left and right sides) you might need a second package (I saw some of the other reviewers were complaining about this). But 1 package was fine for us. I think it prevents some cold air from getting in but haven't taken a temperature measurement to be sure. Also I think you could get foam cheaper from other places (and just tape it up) but this wasn't a bad option. And more cost effective than going to the hardware store ($20 for the same thing). Overall good value for the money.

Not sure how to rate the “sheerness” category. It’s thin, cut-able w/scissors to form any shape/size you need but not much actual filtration because of the ‘sheerness’. After we’d cleaned our bus’ a/c units & replaced the filters w/these, a month later it was still making gray lines on the inside ceiling as the air came out of the unit. Would love something slightly better.

Have not used yet. It looks perfect. I can cut the perfect size I need and it is so much thicker than the filter my window air unit came with.
