Lambs & Ivy Oceania Aqua/Blue Aquatic Fish Wall Decals/Stickers

Perfect touch for an ocean themed nursery! Great soft colors and matches our navy blue rug. I was nervous to put them up since I’m not very artistic but they came out great and here’s how I did it: 1. cut out each animal with a pair of scissors (with backing still on). 2. stick a piece of painters tape to the back of each one. 3. Stick them to the wall using the tape and try out your design. Stand back and view. Adjust animals as needed. 4. Once you’re ready to stick them on the wall permanently, get a credit card to help you apply them. With them still stuck to the wall with the painters tape, carefully peel off the backing off of one end (let’s say the nose of the fish) and stick it to the wall carefully with your fingers. Now slide the credit card over the top of the sticker and simultaneously pull off the back. You use the credit card to get a smooth even sticking. With this method every animal is perfectly placed and each sticker is stuck to the wall without a single bubble! I was amazed how well it worked. Good luck!

I guess I didnt realize when I purchased, but the fish are all single stickers. I guess I assumed that the large group of fish in the product picture was one big sticker since that was also how they were placed in the photos of the Lambs and Ivy room theme. I spent a good amount of time trying to get them all placed on the wall similarly, but it did allow me to make sure it filled the space I had available. Easy to move if you make a mistake (probably not too many times though) once or twice and still are sticky enough to stay on the wall in their new spot. I have not removed all of them and don't have plans to for a while.

These were easy to apply, plentiful, and saturated in colour. Other reviews mention some darkness near the seaweed stick ons, and while that is true I didnt find that to be a very big deal/noticeable. This was a really fun way to make the bathroom fun for my kids and I dont imagine they will adhere permanently and damage the paint as they are pretty thin. We've had them up a few weeks and havent steamed up the bathroom enough to know if they will unstick in a year or mores time, but if they do, they werent exactly a huge $ investment. great product for the price!

The decals were very easy to apply and reapply to the wall. Sadly, I wasn't happy with the look of all the decals. As you can see, with the seaweed, turtle(s) and some of the fish- you can see a dark shadow come through the decal. My wall is sheetrock with pale blue paint that was applied with a paint roller. To me that is not textured. And yes, it is a baby's room so I did not use a flat finish paint, but instead it was a satin finish. I was trying to find a way to contact the seller, to see if I could improve the look. Unable to find contact information, so I just ended up removing all of the coral, turtles and a few of the fish. Feel it was a bit pricey for the number of decals I ended up using. Now trying to find decals from another seller that might have coral/seaweed/fish that will match.

Easy to apply!! I have them on a gray wall. I think on a darker wall they may see the sticker portion a lot easier. But it goes great with light walls*Don't come at me for storage in the crib. Baby hasn't arrived yet* :)

These are very expensive for how many you actually get. They do go on and come off very easily. No damage to wall or paint. But are mostly transparent which I was not expecting since these are not on a white wall. But definitely more of a $10-$12 item. Not $17.

The darkest color in the marketing photos appears to be a dark/navy blue, but it’s purple. Maybe my computer screen fault, but description says “blue.” Thought maybe my eyes were deceiving me so I got confirmation from other family & friends that it’s definitely purple. I need blue for my project. My first pic was taken with inside light and second with daylight. Definitely purple, a pretty purple. But if you want purple, these decals are precious. I’m so sad I can’t use them. I’ll be returning.
