Caffe' Castorino Superbar Whole Bean Italian CoffeeF

What an awesome coffee.... full, rich, chocolaty with a nick thick speckled crema. You can tell a lot about the freshness of the beans by the way the coffee extracts and what you see in the cup. This was a superior bean properly roasted and easy to pull consistently excellent shots with. Love the very slight pleasantly bitter note it ends on - a true hallmark of a traditional Neapolitan coffee from Campania!As you can see in the photos above, it renders flawlessly, holds the sugar so the crema is nice and solid and when swirled around the cup - the crema coats the sides. All the hallmarks of a great quality espresso bean.

Overall the Castorino Coffees have been consistently great. I just tried the superbar for the first time and it has great flavor and isn't overly bold.I'm a big fan of the 100% arabica as well. Castorino has been a great find. I serve it to all my guests and convert them. Haven't found a better coffee maker since.

Terrific coffee

As a espresso drinker for the past 30 years, I have searched high and low for the best espresso and I have traveled to many beautiful cities of Italy tasting many espressos at the cafes every day. I tasted a Castorino Superbar espresso in a small Italian town in southern Italy and I was amazed at the taste...the smoothness, richness,freshness ,and aroma. The crema is beautiful. It is now the only espresso coffee bean that I buy.

I bought this coffee to take with me to China, where I live now n and coffee is very expensive. No regrets. The taste is rich and just right for the first morning cup. Totally recommend it.

I enjoy visiting a local coffee shop and throughly enjoying a latte made with some of this fine Italian coffee. It's simply the best!
