I really like this mascara! It separates and defines each lash while adding both length and volume. The brush reaches even the tiny corner lashes, giving a full and fanned-out effect. I’ve been using Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara for over 20 years, and I keep coming back to as it just works for me. I’ve tried plenty of other mascaras over the years, including newer and more expensive ones, but nothing gives me the same reliable results. It defines, lengthens, and makes my lashes look full without clumping. It’s easy to apply, wears well throughout the day, and doesn’t flake. I use an oil based cleanser to remove it. At 50, I appreciate a mascara that enhances my lashes without looking heavy or overdone. If you’re someone who’s tried a lot of mascaras and keeps searching for “the one,” this might be it. Sometimes the classic really is the best. And it’s extremely affordable!

I REALLY love this mascara. I have extremely puny eyelashes. They're both thin and short. They constantly fall out so I have bald spots all the time. I've always used Loreal Voluminous but lately, since I have to use so many coats, it dries out quickly and runs out fast. It also doesn't help the volume, length or empty spaces. I need the mascara to be a little bit on the wet side so that I can apply it to the tips of both eyes first and come back and start from root to tip. This gives you a bit more length because the dried tips will grip the brush and help pull up your eyelashes and also it adds a touch of length to them. But if it isn't wet enough, you'll get clumps on the end and your next coats won't pull through and elongate. Also it needs to re-wet itself when you add another coat or they'll stick together lengthwise with additional coats. I also need the brush to have lots of bristles or else my few eyelashes will go in between the bristles and they'll stick together and look like I have 5 or 6 total thick eyelashes. This mascara does all those things. The brush has a slight curve with short stiff bristles on the inner curve and long, stiff bristles on the outer curve. The bristles are rigid so they comb through when you put it on and also they comb through with additional layers. I don't have a lot of experience with curved brushes but this one really works to grab the eyelashes on the ends. You can also roll the brush starting with the longer bristles and ending with the short ones. This lifts the edges evenly. I've tried another brand with similar type bottles/brushes but the stick between the cap and brush is too short so I get the stick with mascara all over my cheeks. This one is long enough. The only thing I don't like about this mascara is also the thing I like a lot about it. When you go to wash it off, it comes off in tiny fibers. It makes it just a tiny bit harder to wash off BUT those fibers are helping add to the length and volume of my tiny eyelashes without looking phoney. Having it be a little harder to wash off also means it isn't leaving black smudges on my face as the day goes on. I'm used to wearing several layers of mascara but you don't need to with this. Once it's good, don't keep adding layers or it will get clumpy. But I think you'll really like how it is able to build up your eyelashes nicely, quickly, and with less layers. I'm sticking with this brand. I added it to subscribe and save. It's a comperable price to the store I shop at but it comes to my door every month and I don't have to remember to get it.

This mascara is amazing. Into coats it more than triples the length and thickness of my lashes which are nearly non-existent due to harsh chemo in my past. One cook gives me the ability to do a second one without getting the wand in my eye which is a thing because I hardly have any lashes. So this is my deal with the three stars, supposedly it's waterproof and sweatproof but also washable. I have found that if my eyes tear it will run. Also, after wearing for numerous hours during a regular day it does tend to flake off and winds up on my upper cheek. I think I might try using it for the two coats and then using a legitimate waterproof mascara to try i think I might try using it for the two coats and then using a legitimate waterproof mascara to try seal it on my lashes. Through the years I have tried probably 50 different mascaras looking for the perfect one with lengthening, thickening, curl, long wear, with lengthening fibers, good wand, proper loading amount on the wand, and waterproof. It doesn't meet all of my criteria but it certainly gets closer than any other product I've tried. 10 bucks of tube is a steel. When I add a sealing waterproof layer on top of it I will update this review.

Lash Sensational is one of the best mascaras I've tried! It adds great volume and length while separating the lashes beautifully without clumping. The formula lasts all day without smudging, and the brush design makes application easy. For the price, it's an excellent product that delivers stunning lashes. Highly recommend!
