Formica, what elese can I say. This is the thinner stuff for vertical application but I used it on my flat wort bench anyway. 4 x 8 sheets slighty oversized.

All in all the laminate was good quality. I think I made a mistake trying to use it too quickly when it was very cold after shipping. There was tension in the roll that it was shipped in which cause a crack to form in the midst of the sheet. If I had let the roll acclimate to room temperature, I think it would have been better. The item was shipped from south Florida and arrived and was delivered to me on a day in the low 30’s. I had plan to let it warm before gluing but thought it would be better to let it warm up flat. And while I was alone, I believe having two people when you unroll it would be advantageous. Even though I was prepared for it to unravel and get longer quickly I heard the crack almost immediately. Thankfully it occurred in a spot that could be cut out. I used the material to cover my miter saw bench and it works wonderfully. Not only does the color provide a nice background, but wood is very easy to adjust precisely Without difficult or force.
