Very fine leather. True to thickness advertised.

I needed some heavy duty leather to upgrade the cheap imitation leather arming strip on my medieval cuisses. For reference, I have never done any leatherworking at all in my life. I came across this product and it seemed like an appropriate match for my needs. From what I can tell, it's genuine leather. It smells amazing, like your typical fresh leather smell. Similar to the smell of a new BMW, lol. It was fairly easy to work with, and worked perfectly for my needs.

Pretty good thick leather. I think it is mostly pressed leather fibers with a thin strip of stained hide on top. That being said it is fairly durable and should hold up to some abuse. I used the rust red to make a guitar case handle. If you bend it up a bit the stain lightens up and looks more red.

My son used this to make an archery arm guard. The quality and color were nice and the price was great.

Needed a flexible gasket, perfect material and easy to cut. Very pleased with the results. Versatile for other projects.

I was happy to receive and see how nice, thick this was. I bought this for a knife strop.. perfect. Size was as described. Good thick cow hide. Good buy for me.

I use as a pad when working on my watches. Beautiful piece of leather and excellent full-penetration color dye. Absolutely soft as butter. Came folded in quarters, laid flat, without a crease immediately. I have other colors in my cart.

Exactly like the picture. smells lovely (if you like the smell of tanned hide).

My grandfather and father worked with leather. I grew up surrounded by the smell of leather, whether it was for fine leather goods or simpler leathers like those still sold in Home Hardware for work belts. However, with this product I just bought, I can’t figure out why it emits such a nauseating chemical odor, or why the surface is coated with a thick colored substance. I don’t understand what I just bought. It doesn’t smell or look like natural leather at all. I strongly advise against this product.
