We just bought this gorgeous umbrella last month for our backyard. It is the perfect size for us and the blue color enhances the outdoor patio area. The main reason we bought this was because now and then we get a sudden burst of wind that has broken previous umbrellas. This has 3 layers to let the breeze flow through it. It stood the wind test a week ago and performed perfectly. I also liked the fact that it is made with Sunbrella fabric. I’m expecting we’ll have this umbrella for a long time !

I purchased two 11' umbrellas and am thrilled with how well they are made, and they're the perfect size. We've all purchased the cheapies, but these look and feel as if they will last for many, many years. We're on a mountain with north-facing decks, and the wind can be fierce. This design allows the wind to simply go through, rather than blow it off the deck and down the mountain. Be aware, because of the thick, high quality fabric, the stronger metal parts and grommets, these are very heavy. I needed help to set them up. With covers, I plan to leave them in place even through the winter. They're great!

I rarely write a review the day I get an item. But in this case I think it's deserved. The quality is very good. It has very good quality fabric and is stitched well. This is according to my wife, who sews fabric almost daily. The mechanism is smooth and works very well. The tilt mechanism is easy to release and positively locks. The powder coating on the steel parts is very nice, and matches our patio furniture almost perfectly. We looked for nearly a month for a patio umbrella. Looked at all the big box stores, and different umbrellas on Amazon and other online stores. You pay a little more for this umbrella, but this one is worth it. I hope I get years of enjoyment like we did tonight.

This umbrella is very well made with heavy cloth in a beautiful vibrant parrot green color, very well sewn seams, sturdy hardware and very smooth operation. However, it does not measure 9 feet. Fully opened from rib to rib it is 104” which is 4 inches short of 9 ft. Side to side it measures exactly 8 ft across. I would have given 5 stars if the size was correct.

I love it. It looks really nice and the vents help with keeping it upright.. highly recommend. Shipping was fast.

I left my 3-tier umbrella up all summer to protect a table from bird droppings. We had a thunderstorm yesterday; the upper plastic part of the pole broke and when it fell over, it bent the lower part of the pole that went through the table and pulled the entire teak table over on its side. Photos included. I bought it May 2, 2021, 5 months ago. I thought the 3-tiers would protect it from high wind. I guess not. I do not know if the plastic part was cracked to start with, but the box was not damaged. I bought this to replace a faded umbrella with no tiers and no plastic connection parts. That umbrella was left up every summer for 10 years and did not break. If you never leave the umbrella up in thunderstorms, it is very nice and just what you are looking for. It is so expensive! But only worked for one summer. I am asking for a replacement though I did not get the warranty. I will let you know if the vendor replaces it. If so, I will inspect the plastic part and watch the weather more closely! Update: the product failure was within the 6 month warrantee period but the company is classifying 24 MPH winds as "destroyed by a natural disaster" and not as failed during normal use. (I sent a download of the wind data for that day.) Still discussing this with them but am very unhappy with my $250 purchase. They are only offering to sell me a frame for $70 with the expectation that I can transfer the canopy and have a $320 umbrella. Update: They sent a replacement. It arrived broken in a different place. See circled area in the 4th photo and compare it to the first frame above it. Since I like the canopy style and color, I am asking them to send a replacement for the replacement.

We love our new umbrella. Its beautiful and works great. We just took it down for the winter, but it stood outside full time all summer long and it still looks great.
