Low quality

This book is in serious need of an editor. There are a lot of grammatical errors and significant repetition. Also, the organization of the exercises is inconsistent. For something which aims to eventually sell for $20 I would expect much more thought about progression of exercises to help people get from basics toward mastery. I would also want consistent recommendations about set sizes and instructions on when to progress toward more intense exercises.Really, this book just compiles a bunch of stuff that you can find on the web.

Body weight workout guidelines

This book provides guidance for exercise that requires no other equipment. It is great for the times that stay at home orders are in effect and the gyms are closed. You may need to review a couple of times to build routines since there are no suggested routines. It suggest number of reps for each exercise.

Excellent guidebook on calisthenics training

Excellent guidebook on calisthenics training, though I didn’t find this too well-suited for a beginner like me. I’d say this is for those who are much more ahead in the game. Gave detailed definitions, and easy-to-follow instructions for each specific maneuver. The vivid photos were a definite plus. I am inspired to start training even though most of the exercises seemed tough. Would recommend this to those looking for alternative ways to keep fit.

Very decent material.

Very decent material. Worth owning. Covers almost every body weight exercise you will want or need. Only complaint is book was poorly edited. Otherwise worth owning.

Great book!

Great introductory book! Recommend to someone just getting back into exercising. Chapters are light and brief but very informative. Great tips and hints to getting back on the road to fitness. There's probably more in depth resources out there but this is good so as not to overwhelm someone with too much detail-a good read!

There must be something better.

Obviously written by someone who lacks knowledge of the English language. Words missing, words improperly used and sometimes do not match the diagram. The concept of the book is fine but you get what you pay for when you get a free book.

This book may show you some basic exercises but in no way does it help to build a routine. It could be so much better with basic to expert routines.

It’s nice to have a resource with most calisthenics in one place. I know I won’t be able to do all of the in the beginning; it will take work.
