Univen 7 oz Coffee Ground Glass Jar Carafe fits KitchenAid Burr Grinder replaces 4176728 KPCGRND

It fits just like the one that came with my coffee grinder which I had fumbled onto the tile floor. Apparently I am not alone in my lack of manual dexterity. Though it has not significantly impacted my quality of life, not having it would have certainly proved an annoyance if I had tried grinding coffee into an ill-fitting container.

Update 1/4/24 - my original replacement broke when I banged it against the back of the grinder, echoing some other reviews complaining about the thickness of the glass and the height being too tall. I didn't see any alternatives, so I reordered another one. The new one seems to be thicker and is definitely shorter than the original. I liked the fit of the original one because it kept the dust from getting out while grinding. But the new shorter version doesn't have the issue where it gets stuck when there are grounds on the base.===================This fits and works just as well as my original KitchenAid, which you can't buy anymore.

Purchased this glass jar for my Kitchenaid coffee grinder, model KPCG100PMO. I went through many of the reviews for this jar and found many complaints of the jar being too high. I went ahead and ordered this replacement, hoping for the best. The jar arrived in perfect condition and fit my grinder. The jar is slightly heavier than the original part and about 1/3 the price of the OEM part. Overall I am very satisfied. Note my grinder is approximately sixteen years old. This jar may not fit later grinder models.

I grind decaf and regular coffee so I like to have a container for each. I bought an extra glass container when I bought the grinder but it got broken recently. I was a little sceptical about these because they were so much less than the prices I was finding on the Kitchenaide replacements but decided to try it. It works fine but it is slightly wider at the top and doesn't fit quite the way the original does. You need to keep an eye on it since it can move a little with the vibration. I am going to try some of the True Grips I use on my quilting rulers on the bottom. I think it will raise it slightly and reduce the shifting from the vibration

It is smaller than the original glass jar on the KitchenAid Burr Grinder. First use I was not keeping an eye on it. It vibrated off the machine and I had a pile of grounds. I guess I will have to hold it in place while grinding until I can find something better. Others have pics of it not fitting.

The glass jars works, but it is a quarter inch short of the top of the grinder. This is smaller than the original and thus sprays ground coffee on the counter. A bit annoying.

I love my Kitchenaid burr coffee bean grinder but I've cracked the little glass carafe twice now. The first time I replaced it through Kitchenaid because I wanted to make sure it fit properly. The second time, I noticed this one on Amazon at a considerable lower cost. I took the chance and happy to report it fits perfectly!

This replacement glass ground coffee jar fits my burr grinder just fine.
