The tool comes with no instructions. The instructions would be useful to figure out what the markings are for and to predict the effective length of a bent tube. I think I am being a bit harsh, but I took off a star for this omission.At first I thought the tool was a bit flimsy but it whipped through bending quite a bit of 5/16" steel tubing without complaint.The bend radius is fixed at a minimum of 1". Theoretically you could make a circle no smaller than 2" in diameter. You can make larger radii, but it takes a lot of patience and finesse.You can make two bends no closer than 1 1/2" -- and that takes a bit of care. I was most comfortable allowing 1 3/4 to 2 inches between consecutive bends.The tool works nicely on annealed steel tubing and copper tubing and is nicely made. A good value in my opinion.

I bought this tool specifically for a vintage camper I was rebuilding. First time working with a tool like this, and it worked out really well bending 3/8 copper LP line. I wouldn't expect it to hold up well if it were used by a professional every day, but for the occasional project the price can't be beat.

It can be hard to start bends in 3/8 steel tubing since the arms are shortish, but once you do its pretty easy to control. Works really well

Is an ok tool. I used it to bend some fuel NICOPP fuel lines for a Chevy truck and there were cracks in the casting of the tool by the end of one job. Don't expect this tool to last forever. The bends turned out nice, however.

The smallest of the 3 radii worked well with 3/16 inch brake lines. I needed to make a couple of 180° bends at the calipers and was afraid of kinking them, so this bender made them with little effort.

Works well. I stuck one handle in the vice and used the other handle with one hand and held the tubing with the other hand.

But my husband really loved it! It was one of his Christmas presents! One thing I will say about anything shipped directly from Amazon, you get it very very quickly!! Not to mention that Amazon had this item cheaper than any other place out there! Kudo's to Amazon!

Works well, did what I needed it to do on the 3/16 steel tubing I used on my Tow Dolly.
