We used this tool to teach a child how turbines work in both wind and water. The child struggled with books and this demonstrated exactly how turbines work.

This simple device can teach anybody how a wind turbine can produce electricity. Works immediately after a few minutes of assembly.

Great fun, it is what it says just something to play with in a sense but I would buy another one.

It does work if you have a good source of air I.e. a hairdryer. Blades are a little flimsy and would easily snap if knocked but they work.

Well made mini generator. Great fun to see it light up when the wind blows. Worth the money. I mounted it outside on an arch in the garden in an upturned plastic jar. My grandchildren love to watch for the led coming on.

Functions well once built. Requires soldering together so not really suitable for younger children as adult intervention is required. Wires are very short (approx 8cms) so if you’re looking to conduct a worthwhile science experiment you’ll need extra wire to extend it. Also worth noting the LEDs included are RED not clear, my son used it for a school project to show how we use wind for home energy but all lights inside his model house glow red 😬.
