Acerbis 2142000001 Rally Pro X-Strong Black Handguard

These hand guards are a great choice. They get great reviews on the internet and now I know why. I don't think you can find a better top branded option for the $$. They go on easily an are solid as a rock on the bars. Your levers will likely fit, but will need some adjustment. It also required a minor bend (no tools required) to get the right fit for my clutch lever. I'm a big fan of Acerbis product for my off road motorcycle.

Very happy with the handguards. They are definitely going to be very durable. The aluminum bar inside makes them very sturdy. Installation was easy once I just went with the non-steel handlebar method. There's 2 ways to install these things and I couldn't tell what metal my bars were made of. It wouldn't fit if I used the steel bar method because the inside diameter of the handlebar ends were too small. They sell these guards labeled as "x-strong" but when I received them, they were just labeled as rally pro. I called acerbis and they said they were the same ones. Not sure why they say "x-strong" in the title and not on the packaging. Mine mount to a 2018 yz250f. No issues with the throttle hanging. And no issues with wires or cables in the way of the included mounting hardware.

Excellent product easy to install!

These are great. They're sturdy, attractive, and fit my Yamaha XT225 perfectly well. They have held up and protected my levers through a number of off road crashes. However, you can buy ones that look exactly like these on ebay for $30, just without the Acerbis stickers on them. The molding is exactly the same, which makes me think they may actually be identical and from the same factory. I ended up buying these, not wanting to deal with the possibility of the knockoffs using poor materials, but the ebay version is something to consider and that "risk" may be worth taking for a lot of people. If I were hurting for money, I would have gone with the ebay version without any hesitation.

Look good and sturdy. Dropped the bike a couple times on the trails and no problem.

DONT GET THE KNOCK OFFS, the hard ware is weak and makes your bike look bad. These are the classic guards. I wanted something age appropriate for my 04 crf450r.

Held up well in the past two years on my Strom. Letters are fading, but it has definitely saved my controls a couple times, not too bulky and looks pretty slick

I installed the handguards on a 2001 Kawasaki KL250 Super Sherpa. Very nice fit and they seem to be very well made. The mounting hardware was high quality and all the parts I needed were included. No trimming or mods required. Made in Italy!! Not the other country you would expect. Lol! Very Pleased. Thank you Amazon.

Misleading the right degree colour,..picture shown navy blue and that why I choose,to match my graphic, ..but when in reality is blue purplish,the yamaha colour.. Pls correct the colour..now have to re paint; navy blue or black..didn't fix yet but its shown good quality..
