DSLRKIT New Version Thumbs Up Grip for Fuji X-E1 X-M1 X-A1 X-E2 X-Pro1 (Black)

Very well built and designed, especially for the Fujifilm X-E2 (and the identical X-E1). It slides easily yet securely inside the hot-shoe mount. It is not moving around at all for normal use, yet you can push it out when gripping the camera properly without any worries of it becoming stuck. No need for the silly hex locking screw other their thumb grip designs implement. On the X-E2 it clears all controls perfectly, and pushed all the way in it doesn't touch the upper body plate having what looks like .5mm clearance. It virtually adds zero bulk to the camera, yet the does feel naturally more secure from the first second. Did try it on a EOS M too. It fits fine and agan doesn't obstruct any of the camera's controls, although pushing it all the way in will bring the edge of it in contact with the upper plate. Perhaps a strip of gaffer or electrical tape on the inside of the surface will make sure no metal to metal contact takes place that could eventually scratch the paint or even nick the metal on the camera. Yes, there are more sophisticated designs out there, but for the value of this one you cannot go wrong. Highly recommended.

There is slight play in the thumb grip when it is in the flash mount. Wish it was tighter. Still excellent value and feels great. Highly recommended for looks and comfort while holding the X-E1/E2 camera. Also works well on my Fujifilm X20 as well.

I have large hands and even with the grip extended my wonderful (little) X-Pro 1 was not the most comfortable to hold for long periods of time. I decided to give this a try just out of curiosity, and I'm so happy with it I bought one for my X-E1. Why? Not only does it help with hand fatigue by allowing my thumb to better support the camera, it also keeps me from accidentally changing the exposure dial! That's a problem I've had with this camera, I would inadvertently turn the exposure dial with the side of my thumb when repositioning the camera. This grip keeps my thumb off of the dial unless I want to adjust it. I wish I'd purchased this the same day I got my camera. It's solidly built and matches the look of the camera.

Having recently purchased a Fuji X-E1, I wanted the thumb rest grip, but did not wish to pay $100.00 plus for the OEM authorized product. This camera is slightly awkward to comfortably shoot without one. I searched for a well rated third party option and purchased this item, I am very pleased. It is robust, smoothly finished, fits perfectly and works like a charm for a very appealing price. I am ordering a spare.

Fits perfectly on my Fuji x20. The cutout of the thumb grip perfectly contours around the mode dial, to make it look as if it was an OEM piece. I love it and it makes handling the camera 100x better, considering that I had lost the OEM rubber thumb rest - it is a common issue with X20s and replacements are impossible to find. This thumb rest not only upgrades the handling and look of the camera, but also hides the eyesore of there the missing OEM rubber thumb rest is.

Camera: Fuji X100F Once I opened the package I was pleased with how it felt and the weight, it also fit perfectly on the camera. I was stoked when testing it out, it really helped for comfort holding the camera. You can't beat the price as well. Sadly while testing it out I noticed that it blocked the shutter dial just enough to make it too difficult to adjust (see attached photos). The product is great but if you use a Fuji X100 series this might not be the thumb grip for you. For the price it's not a bad accessory to carry around if you have a set shutter or use auto. If the thumb grip was slightly bent out or a little thinner where your thumb lays it would be perfect.

Not 100% necessary for my Fujifilm X-E2S, but it does add a bit of ease to the handling of the camera. Fit into the hot shoe mount is tight with no wobble. I would recommend this product.

I got one of these for my Fuji XE2 a while ago and was very pleased with the fit and finsh..and esp the price! I found it so useful I decided to get another for my X100. I was aware that it made getting access to the rear dial/toggle a bit difficult but after carefully bending the arm of the grip out a little in a vise it now functions very well. (Access to the toggle is still a bit cramped but perfectly useable.) BTW, it's TOUGH and took quite a bit of effort to bend even slightly as it's solidly made! Very good value for money and makes the camera handling much nicer and quick to remove if the hot shoe is needed. No fiddly allen bolts etc.. And as others have said, it looks part of the camera. Reccomended for the Fuji XE2, and with a little tinkering, the Fuji X100 (1st model) Great product!

Encaja perfectamente y no bloquea ningún botón o rueda. Mejora algo la ergonomia y ayuda a evitar tocar la rueda de exposición y los botones de bloqueo del enfoque y exposición accidentalmente. Lo recomiendo si es lo que buscas.

Works fine and provides a comfortable grip. Only very minor quibble is that it slightly reduces access to the "View Mode" button but it's still easy enough to work with.

Thumbs up absolument parfait pour mon Fuji X20. L'échancrure permet d'avoir accès à la molette des programmes près du déclencheur. La courbe n'est pas trop prononcée et gêner la prise en main et les manipulations et est suffisamment longue pour tomber naturellement sous le pouce. L'accroche au niveau de la griffe-flash est facile et solide malgré l'absence de vis de maintien. C'est quasi le même que le modèle de la marque à un prix bien bien moindre ! Je recommande chaudement ce produit. Un déclencheur bouton est l'idéal pour compléter ce thumbs up.
