Shows angles and areas not seen in most comon photos.
I really like these books for 3D modeling purposes. I couldn't seem to get any good looks at the area behind the bridge structure. This book has many angles and shots that allow me to figure out how to model areas of the ship that simple line drawings dont show.

This is a great work. A must of the serious model builder or history buff. BUT, even thought the title is Lutzow, inside it's the DKM Adm. Scheer. In 1940 the Adm. Scheer was given the Atlantic Bow during a re-fit. The Lutzow & the Graf Spee retained their straight bow. So for as history buff I'm a little disappointed. This seems to be a common mistake. But still a great resource book.

Make sure you get the glasses if you get it used.
It's okay as a reference, but the 3D portion is a gimmick and useless it you don't have the glasses. If you're a ship modeler, the rigging illustrations make this worth having.

Sehr gut gemacht
Das Buch ist ein wahrer Gewinn. Die 3d-Zecihnungen sind wirklich klasse. Man muß sich fragen, woher all die fakten ekommen sind, um die 3d Zeichnungen zu erstellen. Es gibt durchaus noch Teile der Originalpläne der Deutschland, aber wirklich so viele? Wie auch immer, man sieht auf einmal Bereiche vom Schiff, die man so auf Bildern noch nie gesehen hat. Klarer Kauf !
