not sure how much groove sharpening helps mid/high handicappers
the grooves can be very effectively cleaned by leaving clubhead in detergent solution for 30 min and scrubbing with a relatively stiff brush. After that, the visual impact of using the groove sharpener is much less. I am not too sure how much groove sharpening helps mid/high handicap players.
