Maui Moisture Coconut Oil Hair Mask for Curly Hair, 340g

I am just so amazed by Maui products. I have been umming and arring, watching youtube videos and trying to decide..and i finally went ahead and purchased. I got the Curl Quench Shampoo, the Shea Butter conditioner and this item, the Curl Quench Smoothie.I have thick dry curly 3b hair, which was bleached about 3 years ago. I did a massive chop and eventually went back dark, and have been growing my hair ever since. My curls have never been the same, my hair is dry and frizzy, and no matter what i put in it, it never stays moisturised.I tried these 3 products from Maui out for the first time yesterday and i am already blown away by how moisturised and defined my curls are and I love how beautiful the products smell. With the smoothie, i used a diffuser for a couple of minutes and then let my hair air dry..usually my curls would be frizzy..but these weren’t, they are bouncy and hydrated. I am going to use the smoothie everyday, as it’s pretty lightweight and wash my hair as normal 1-2 times a week, i’m excited to see what results i have in the near future and want to try some of their other products. I would highly recommend these products to anyone with thick dry curly hair, they are free of sulphates and parabens too, which is beneficial for our type hair.

This product has SAVED my curly hair and I am in love, to the point of refusing to ever go near another product! Firstly its 100% natural and vegan so I can rest easy using it and there is absolutely no hint of chemical in the sent, just pure coconut loveliness. And onto my hair, just WOW!! I have the nightmare curls that can be anything from a 2b to a 3c depending on the day and the weather on Mars, plus for as long as I can remember I have struggled with a constant halo of frizzy mess, no matter how hard I tried to take it, and products such as FrizzEase were a complete waste of money. Since using this product (and adopting a few curly girl techniques) I have more uniform curls that look like they belong to the same head of hair, they're actually MORE curly and sitting at a gorgeous 3B/C AND THE FRIZZ IS GONE! Other than the odd flyaway, I have very little frizz as the smoothie is perfect for helping to form neat curl clumps! Plus it doesn't leave a greasy or sticky residue in the hair, so your curls are super soft and looking very natural, but all with great hold - I don't even need hair spray anymore! Overall this has everything you want from a curly hair product, for a fraction of the high end price. Love love love!

Ive used this a few times now, i leave it on for a couple hours. I have thin, curly, frizzy hair. It makes my curls more defined and my hair a little less dry.

I have very curly hair and at the moment because I haven't had it cut for ages it has gone a bit frizzy. Well I washed my hair the other day and sprayed some leave in conditioner on first then I put some of this on. It's really nice and thick and creamy. It left my hair looking and feeling lovely. It took the frizzyness of it so it was nice and curly. I would recommend it and I would buy it again. It is the best thing I have ever used on my hair. Also the smell is lovely.

Have been using this curling cream for a year now and i absolutely love it, it's completely transformed my hair partnered with the shampoo and conditioner. I have a mix between 3b/3c/4a and it caters to all of my textures makes my hair feel not only moisturized but hydrated. I use this product only throughout the year and its enough don't need to reapply for at least a few days even during winter times. It's a very thick cream but very smooth glides onto my hair with no snag. The smell is also delightful very fresh coconut smell get compliments on it all the time.have recommended to many people and they love it also.

It smells great and is moisturising but not so great as a styling product which is what I initially bought it for. It says it can be used as a hair mask or a leave in, but I think it is better as a mask as I found it a bit heavy to leave in.

I recently decided to give up heat styling my naturally curly hair after years of torturing it with the hairdryer and straighteners. As you can imagine, my poor curls were dry, damaged and frizzy.I can honestly say, after only one use of this product, my hair feels softer, looks tamer and smells amazing. I can almost hear my tresses saying thank you!I used after my usual shampoo and conditioning routine as a leave in conditioner and left my hair to dry naturally.Only the smallest amount is needed as it glides easily through the hair.I can’t wait to use as a treatment mask, which I will try as a 3 minutes use and as an overnight intensive.I definitely recommend and I will be ordering again .

This product I bought as I wasn't getting on well with the shea moisture curl smoothie product so bought this one and have never looked back! It's a nice, thick texture and a little goes a long way. It's got a gorgeous, tropical scent and it helps to keep my curls in place, I have 2b/c curls and this product works incredibly for them. Will be repurchasing soon, so far this tub has lasted me 2 months and I wash my hair every 2-3 days
