Fantastic RC car.
My 7 year old son has received multiple cheap RC cars in the past that break or he gets bored with quickly. This time I told him if parts break we can fix them or add parts and such, over time like a fun hobby. He got it for Christmas and has hardly been able to put it down. He clearly cares for this car way more than any of the cheap off the shelf brands of RC cars. He gets excited about the real suspension and everything and is eager to make modifications. It’s a fun thing I hope the two of us can do together. :)

Item was very delicate, and actually arrived with a piece broken off in the package.
Expected higher quality from Traxxas; item arrived with one of the side-view mirrors broken off, which could have been due to shipping. Overall item was very delicate. Returned to Traxxas, and was charged a $50+ restocking fee.

Servo stopped moving and broken gears,
It has a high center of gravity, a lot of plastic (including plastic transmission and differential gears…), a bad steering servo, bad esc, fragile drive shafts, leaking shocks, and it doesn’t even come with the pro scale light set…Servo stopped moving and broken gears after 2 times of use

Overpriced and poor quality
Overall it’s not a bad RC trail/rock crawler at all… if it wasnt 180 dollars… I would not recommend unless you have enough money to basically replace everything with aftermarket parts. Shocks, bearings, servos, etcIt has a high center of gravity, a lot of plastic (including plastic transmission and differential gears…), a bad steering servo, bad esc, fragile drive shafts, leaking shocks, and it doesn’t even come with the pro scale light set…not to mention my trailer hitch holes didn’t come threaded for some reason and my steering servo was broken/badly misaligned.
