The filling is a fizzy sherbet, but there isn't much of it. Back in the day, the old sherbet lemons had a really good helping of it, and you really knew what you were getting!

Can someone who mentioned a fizzy like center, could you please say what the fizzy is similar to so I can fully understand what to expect

The "fizz" comes from a powder in the center, which will fizz when it comes in contact w saliva, or a liquid.
