Does it need a cover if stored outside? In the winter etc?

We've only had ours a few months but living in the West Coast of Scotland we need covers all year round 😊

Is it stable on uneven ground?

It will be stable but will not 'rock'. It may stress the side members and loosen the slats. I wouldn't recommend it.

Is it comfortable without a mattress-like cushion?

We bought the fitted cushion and it's great. TBH without, it probably a bit auster for my taste. BTW Don't assume that you can assemble this in 5 minutes! >100 screws...

Are there cushions that can be bought with these loungers?

Sorry I have no idea as we didn't look for any. I just use an ordinary household cushion at the base of my spine.
