Great Product. Works Like a Charm!
I've had my ET Bird Control 2000 for about 5 weeks now and so far it's doing a pretty good job. The birds in my back yard haven't attacked my fruit trees as much now. I still find a few fruits with bird peckings in them, and a few of the braver birds still fly through or land on my trees, but it's been a significant drop overall. I suppose it's a good balance after all, the birds are there to eat the bugs that would otherwise destroy my trees. As for the settings, I have it set on low so as not to bother my dog who also patrols the yard for larger pests. At the low setting, I can barely hear it when I walk by and it doesn't bother me at all.Overall, I like this product. I'm planning on getting 2 more. One for the other side of the yard, and one for my parents who also have birds attacking their fruit trees.UPDATE 2 Months Later:My yard is nearly empty of birds. This product does too good of a job in my yard! My mother came to visit and learned about this product. I offered to buy her one but she said that she would rather have a few birds eating her fruit. I actually ordered 2 more today, another one to cover the other corner of my back yard and another one for my front yard.I spoke to the inventor today and he is a very sincere man who says "It either works well or it doesn't work on some birds". If you get one and it doesn't work, contact him for suggestions on settings and placement. He'll work with you or give you your money back. I'm sold!

Simply ineffective
Simply expensive and ineffective for discouraging the sparrows who have been regularly partying and crapping on my balcony. I’ve moved the thing around and it occasionally emits a sound and a strobe light when a person moves through its beam, but for the two months that I’ve had it, it has had no effect on the sparrows. The seller requests that the buyer give it time to work, well two months in and the crap continues! Probably requests the delay in negative reporting to discourage returning the thing! Be warned.

Birds
This item does work with time. The operating instructions were mixed up when we received the product and although the manufacturer e-mailed the proper ones, they are still confusing. The only way to communicate with them is via Amazon messaging. I made some suggestions to improve the instrument, but never got any feedback. It works to scare pigeons away using the audible function, crows do not seem to be bother by it. As well, it has a motion detector function that is activated when a bird flies close to it, so we dropped of put a string in front of it that moves when some wind is present in order to activate it so birds stay away. Make sure that you only keep the string in place for short period of time, otherwise the sound gets the be a nuisance after a while.

Amazing Results
I have had a problem with birds bombing my dock for years. Never saw them do it but it became pointless to have chairs with cushions on them as in a day each cushion would have at least four or five white droppings. We live about 5 miles from ocean so I assume it was seagulls. I have a tree that partially overhangs the dock. Tried one of those rotating owls which became a new target for the birds. Bought this product with not much hope. Installed first on dock with audible setting which gave no real results. Then realized that I needed to get the flight path of the bird before they got to the dock and moved it back about 20 feet from dock and at about six feet off the ground (On the tree). Put it on silent operation and in a matter of a day it stopped. I have been bird dropping free now for over two weeks and it makes no noise, requires no maintenance, and I can sit on my chairs and not have to bring a towel to cover the cushions. I’m sold and wish I had done this sooner. Hope you get the same results I have gotten-this was a no brainer.

I installed it as recommended by the manufacturer (in a 40 feet action radio)
I bought this Bird Control after see some reviews in Amazon. It's a little bit early to confirm if this equipment really works or not on pigeons. I live in Venezuela, I got the ET Bird Control few weeks ago, I installed it as recommended by the manufacturer (in a 40 feet action radio). My problem with pigeons is in a high roof (40 feet high) I use to park my vehicles (garage), so I installed it 40 feet high. My first complain is there is no light in the equipment to indicates if it is powered on (it could happen problems like an electrical false contact, dead batteries, for instance). Second complain is poor or lack of sensibility in the sensor. I see pigeons flying around (and in the expected action radio) and the ET Bird Control doesn't activate. So I have to take a stairway (40 feet long) and climb to the place I installed the equipment, power off, then on and I re-start to work. BUT overall and the most important thing: It seems to be less pigeons around. As the manufacturer declare, I will wait 4 more weeks and I'll let you know my final review. Please take my two suggestions as recommendations to improve: Power on indication light, and sensibility adjust capability. Regards.
