Great Laptop for the Money
I did my research and this thing is a beast. No complaints. Starts fast and does everything I need it to do. No complaints here.

Warranty, What? 3 months still no laptop
I bought 2 of these Laptops, so I would never be down. The 1st laptop would not boot, after 2 months. Warranty people are terrible, they don't want to fix anything. I fixed it myself, up and running again in one day. This second laptop failed in 4 months later, same problem SSD failure.I just wanted to take my laptop to an HP service center and have it fixed. 3 months later there is still no solution. I have had 7 tickets open in the last 2 days.UPDATE: Took Laptop to HP service center and was told they only work on Laptops that they sell (Best Buy). So I fixed it myself by replacing the SSD. Next day HP called to tell me they are trying to fix my warranty since I gave them my invoice proving WHEN I bought it. That was not enough to have them honor their warranty. They will get back to me. Has been 4 months and my Laptop is fixed in one day by me cost one SSD. NO MORE HP Hardware for me.1) They will tell you your laptop is not under warranty, then you are transferred to a pay to fix your computer company.2) Provide proof of purchase still under warranty, then they say the laptop is modified, not covered by warranty, offer to fix at my cost.3) Contact again, provide proof of purchase, now itβs a software issue with no boot sector. Pay to fix!4) I ran diagnostics again myself and found the hardware (SSD hard drive is dead).5) Called back new ticket #7, No Warranty, modified laptop, Proved purchase. They updated everything again; they will verify everything tomorrow and mail me a shipping label, so I can drive to UPS. When will I get my laptop back, and how much will it cost when they go back to no warranty, modified, no proof of purchase, or worse the laptop becomes missing!Taking it to the service center today with proof of purchase. Will update on the results.Bottom line: Great Laptop, really fast. I would suggest buying a cooling stand and a bootable recovery flash drive. I also bought a 2 TB SSD backup stick, so losing the boot sector/SSD hard drive is not so traumatic. If you don't like fixing computers don't buy HP products or become really good friends with the HP Service Center.

Problems after 4 months
This computer arrived with a missing screw on the bottom from where the seller added upgrades, but it worked fine but hot. The SSD was a cheap and slow model. I replaced it and the computer continued to work fine for a couple of months. One day while playing a game, the screen went black and the computer became unresponsive. Restarted, same thing. Restarted, and the screen no longer turns on and the keyboard is unresponsive. No video on HDMI either. Will start the HP warranty process, but I noted I was missing a few months on my warranty anyway, so this could've easily happened a few months from now and left me with no recourse. Will update this after the warranty ordel. Best case, they fix it and I'm without my laptop for a couple of months... I regret buying this from Amazon, but nothing I can do now.Update: HP did not want to honor the warranty. The rep claimed that by changing the RAM and SSD the seller had made the warranty invalid. I spent an hour trying to get him to cite where in the warranty agreement it said that upgrading the RAM or storage would void the warranty. He couldn't. Still refused to provide service. Fortunately, after charging the computer for a day and starting it up, it finally booted after several minutes of appearing to do nothing at all. It is still working now, so I am assuming this was some sort of charging issue... It is worth noting the charger is finicky. One side of the brick comes loose very easily. Sometimes I have to unplug it from the computer and plug it back in to get it to charge. Anyway, don't expect HP to provide warranty service if you purchase one of these. I'm really soured on HP at this point.
