ESV Large Print Personal Size Bible, Red Letter (TruTone, Forest/Tan, Trail Design): Holy Bible, English Standard Version

Very nice cover.The print is easy to read.The printing format is nice, and the red letter edition is always a blessing.

While ultimately I decided to return this Bible, I struggled with the decision. Let me tell you why.I was shopping for a nice Bible for my dad’s birthday. He turned 69 this year. This Bible has a very nice cover which is made to look and feel like leather. The colors are earthy and peaceful. The outside edges of the pages are a golden color, which elevates the appearance of the Bible. This Bible has an attached ribbon bookmark that is super convenient and also contributes to overall elegance of the book. The print of this edition is XL! This Bible can be read with ease by anyone in any age group. A neat touch is the first letter beginning the chapter is a special font, adding to the elegant aesthetic of this Bible. Lastly, this edition of the Bible has “red letters”. For anyone who doesn’t know, the red letters are Jesus’ spoken words. The red letters make it easier to pick out Jesus’ words in the middle of a lesson or conversation.Unfortunately, the main feature I wanted specifically for my dad, this Bible was NOT a Study Bible. I have a Study Bible and my dad wanted one similar to mine. Study Bibles include much more information than a standard Bible. The extra information can include timetables, visual representations of the Temple, visual representations of the area covered by the disciples evangelism, historical and cultural context and more.Since this Bible wasn’t fitting my dad’s preference, I struggled with whether I should return it. The Bible has so many good qualities, I didn’t want to send it back. I have a Study Bible that I very much enjoy, so I decided it was impractical to keep this Bible

I was looking for an ESV with large print that wasn't a big book and this is the right size for me.

I just found out about the ESV translation. I'm a KJV-lifer and this translation is amazing. I researched many ESV bible styles and came across this one. It's a perfect size to just sit, hold, and read the Bible.A very nice bible for a great price. A nice bible doesn't have to be expensive to enjoy. I'm excited to dive into this bible.

The particular Bible model & version is excellent. Well put together & with large print, including Jesus' words in Red (which many more economical versions lack) make for a high-quality book. This version contains all the necessary footnotes concerning all the manuscripts used to create this particular rendering of the Word. Its quality binding & cover are similar to Bibles costing 2 or 3 times as much!Don't be alarmed by Liberals* shouting that the ESV is missing verses. It is NOT! They are all there. If there are textual differences from various manuscripts, the ESV will note it, alerting you to the fact of how the early Biblical Writers & Readers were thinking about their Holy Scriptures of the time.* Many of these Liberals think the only version Jesus read was the KJV.Get this version & model. You do not have to spend $$$ to get a quality book with accurate & literal readability using all manuscripts available to us today like this inexpensive Bible but for way less costing!

This Bible is absolutely the perfect size!! I understand I had to give up margins to have large print in a compact size and I'm OK with that. I really didn't expect this quality at this price though! The cover, the paper, the binding are all very high quality. The lettering large, legible and is very easy to read, and again I just love the size! It's so easy to hold while you read, and easy to carry with you, just perfect! It really is an amazing value!I would have given this a 5 plus rating but, the red lettering of Jesus' words is kind of brownish, it is not really a crisp red, so it is kind of hard to discern from the black lettering, especially in lower light. It is all very legible, just not really red! And I'm spoiled I do like a red letter Bible with crisp red lettering.

I love this bible. My friend gave one to me as a present. I love it so much, I bought one for my nephew.

I was looking for a Bible that wasn't too large, not too heavy, but had larger print for poor vision. I love this bible! It is a red letter edition, ESV version.
