Bought this product as completely fed up with my strimmer; it was too heavy and the line, which never fed through, kept running out and was almost impossible to replace. This product is brilliant. Very easy to use and effective on edging grass, even on long tough grass. tI haven’t tried the hedge trimmer yet. The products look pretty robust.The assembly instructions are rather confusing, and would suggest a couple of more detailed pictures of the assembled products would help to piece it together more quickly. Great care needs to be taken when using the hand held strimmer, to keep your fingers of the non operating hand away from the blades. Sounds obvious I know, but a couple of time I found myself using my other hand to position long grasses for cutting...DON’T do it!Otherwise, I am very pleased with this product. Very good value for money.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised at how this product works and performs. It seems good value for money. It's relatively easy to assemble and understand. WORD OF WARNING THOUGH - the trigger/safety button is very light touch so do take care when handling (obvs!). Also, be mindful when switching the two blades. It works best to depress the clips either side when pushing on to the base - but make sure the guard is on as whilst you're manoeuvring the blades as it's easy to compress the trigger at the same time.... But the gadget makes it much easier for trimming the box and lonicera balls in my garden; and makes it enjoyable too. I keep it in the utility room and am easily tempted to nip outside whilst waiting for the kettle to boil and do a quick trim!

An excellent addition to this garden edging and light hedge cutting is the telescopic handle with wheels. No more scrabbling around on hands and knees. Easy to assemble and use but the battery life could do with upgrading as thirty to forty minutes is not long enough. Nevertheless, very pleased with this handy tool for light work.

The trimmer arrived just before lunch today and has been in action already.Easy to assemble and the long handle is just what I needed.It does what it says on the tin. It's a hand held hedge / plant trimmer, but when it's clipped and plugged into the extension handle it doubles up as a strimmer - and the combination of the garden I'm tackling at the moment and the steel blades - I can see that this will be my "go to" tool before getting the lawn mower out for the finishing touches.No more replacing strimmer blades every two minutes or so (I gave up on line fed strimmers years ago).Don't try to be over ambitious, if you try to attack long grass too quickly, the trimmer will come out of the holder - but it fits back in very quickly.I don't know (yet) how long the charge will last, but it recharged to full after I used it for 5 - 10 minutes in no time at all.Highly recommended. (Only time will tell how reliable it is, but it is one of the better known brands - so I have no reason to doubt that it will last well).

It does the job ok but is heavy and very noisy.

For what it does it’s a bargain. And it’s easily re charged in 20 minutes. It also has a hedge trimming attachment, which is a bonus.

I nearly sent this back as did not think it would be suitable for my garden. I gave it a chance and so glad I did. Its great. So handy for trimming and powerful. No wires needed just charge. Great handy tool and light to hold.

Lo and behold after leaving a review I put this thing away in the cupboard. I only used this to trim the edge of my grass once. Now it won't charge and I have to jump through whatever hoops to try and contact the seller. This was too expensive to bin after one use. Might just be a faulty one but I'm not happy as I needed it today.I've had a few of these lawn cutters and they usually last a season if you're lucky. Just had one that I had to send back after first use because it wouldn't charge again. This one is different from all the rest, more like stainless steel blades as opposed tot he black blades they usually have. Have to hold two buttons and that can be uncomfortable on the other ones, on this it's easy and very comfortable. I really hope this one lasts me a wee while, its lovely to use, seems lighter than the others too. Glad I decided to spend a bit more money. Haven't set the handle up and probably won't, I was looking for one without a handle because I like sitting on an old yoga mat clipping the edges. They should do one without the handle and it might be cheaper.
