I'm 64, so I've used pretty much everything in the shower, at one time or another. I came on Amazon looking for a honeysuckle soap that I bought from an Amish store in Ohio, when I ran across this soap. I saw reviews stating that you could wash your hair with this soap. I was skeptical, but I bought it.First of all, the bars are huge. I have medium sized women's hands and I could barely hang onto the soap. My husband is a big guy with huge hands and he committed on the large bar size.I had yet to find a soap with which I could wash my hair. My fine straight hair always looked greasy with any kind of soap. I tried the Amish soap it, hoping for the best.The first thing I noticed is that it lathers extremely well, but it rinses easily and thoroughly. The scent is very light. It leaves my hair smelling clean with just a delicate scent that works well for women and men. It doesn't leave any residue on the skin or in the hair. It doesn't dry the skin. My hair came out beautifully clean and shiny. For the first time, I can wait 3 days between hair washings. With my fine straight hair, I've always had to wash daily, otherwise it looks greasy.My husband has eczema on his head. I had him try this soap to wash his hair. For the first time, his head doesn't itch. He said his skin doesn't feel dry.We're still using the first bar for 2 months now, and it's still huge. It's a very long lasting soap; it doesn't take much to make a rich lather.

People around me have noticed the changes in me and started asking me what products I use. Large dark spots from age and small spots from sunburn are disappearing day by day. I've noticed that applying a generous amount of this soap to the skin and leaving it on for a while before rinsing it off has a more moisturizing effect, relieves itching, and leaves the skin beautiful and toned. This is a wonderful product that is worth more than its price, and I will use it regularly, and would like to give it as a gift to those around me. I was born and raised in Japan, so I would be happy if I could sell it in Japan.

A wonderfully beautiful soap that lathers up very nicely. I'd received one bar of the soap from a friend. I never use soap due to the soap scum that it leaves behind. You can see the soap scum on most soaps. Not on this one. So, I purchased a set which comes five to a pack. I can see wrapping a ribbon around each and giving them as gifts. They last a long time and have a very soft aroma. I'll purchase again in the future.

I was talked into trying this soap again. I'm so glad I did! I definitely somehow got a bad batch the last time. This is the only soap that doesn't dry my skin out. I love the smell & it has a lot of suds. This batch is what I love about this soap!I've been using this soap for years. Not sure what they changed, but I'll never buy it again. It dried out my skin, doesn't suds & the smell is sickeningly sweet. Looks & feels no different than cheap bar soap from the store. I won't be wasting my money on it again.

I wanted to try all natural skin and hair products and decided to try this bar soap .. so glad I did. Lathers well, and has a nice scent and feels like it might even hydrate the skin. I use it in the shower and at the bathroom sink to wash my hands and face. I used to have some very tiny bumps high on my forehead, and after using this soap for a couple days, those bumps went completely away. I didn’t think I would like going back to a bar soap, but now, I will never use liquid soap again, it has too many chemicals in it and dried out my skin, also I think those chemicals was what was causing the tiny bumps and dry skin. Love that it’s natural and made in the USA

I do really like the soap and have used it on my body and my hair. I have found that my hair is a smidge drier using this soap and my normal conditioner as compared to using my normal shampoo with my normal conditioner. But, I found a hidden gem in using this soap one day! I was getting an itchy rash reaction to a medicated patch I am currently using and one day in the shower, I rubbed soap on a very itchy spot and left it there while shaving my legs. Completely made the itching go away! Wow! A friend of mine that turned me on to this soap said her husband had gotten a rash on his stomach and this soap was helping to clear it up. Nice!One reason I am giving this a 4 star review is because of the size of the bars of soap. They are much larger than a normal bar of soap, so they don't fit along side my bathroom sink and in some soap holders. Also noticed that handling the bar of soap (especially when it is new) at that size is a bit awkward. I'd love if they made the bars of soap to be much closer in size to regular bars of soap.Only other downfall is the price, given I'm not finding this soap to be a game changer for me in comparison to store bought soap.

These bars are the best! I love bar soap and have quite a collection. Use them awhile and then buy other brands to try. I'm done with that. These bars are perfect. Nicely scented, hard milled and I like that they contain bentonite clay. My search for the perfect bar of soap is over! I hope this company continues to make these

I bought this b/c I heard through Brenda Gantz fb that it helps with minor skin issues!My husband and I love how our skin feels!Our first bar was gone, still have soap in the shower and my husband asked where is the other bars? I got him one :-)It does make our tub slippery/so be carefulA slight scent! Worth the money!
