Excellent price to performance ratio. Take the bad reviews with grain of salt, give these a try.
I bought two sets of these when they launched, before all the reviews were posted. My order was shipped to my mail forwarding address, and I finally received them today at my overseas DPO address, but I was a bit concerned for the last 3 weeks because of the falling average reviews. However, now I see that the low average might be the result of Anker actually being honest and not buying reviews, perhaps, or inflating them at the beginning to gather more sales. Looks like Anker did this honestly by selling the device at a discount at launch, which I applaud. Kudos, Anker.I'm not an audiophile, but an audio enthusiast. I can compare these to my Sennheiser PXC 550, and my wife's Sony WH1000XM2, both first tier wireless, over-ear noise cancelling headphones. I also currently own or owned a Sennheiser HD598, HD6xx, and Hifiman HD-4xx, powered by a dedicated USB DAC/AMP. And I use an LG G7 because it has a Quad-DAC to use with wired headphones, and although it doesn't matter here I wanted to let you know where I'm coming from. Before I get to the product review, just to be clear I'm not a die hard Anker fan. It's been mostly positive, but I've had a couple of Anker products die just outside of the warranty period so I've never been hesitant to try other brands. With that said, first off, the complaint about lack of bass is COMPLETELY unjustified. Using a bass frequency test, I found the bass didn't roll off until 32hz and it extends down to 25hz at a usable dB. Either other reviewers had really bad source materials or they didn't use the right size ear piece, or they had a faulty unit. It's actually too much bass for EDM, so I had to EQ it down quite a bit. One reviewer mentioned a V-shape curve, and although I didn't notice any over emphasized high frequencies, I have a feeling they tuned these for mass market appeal. You'll have to play with the EQ a bit to find the sound that you like.To me, the sound is acceptable. And for $45 I paid for these, that is a HUGE compliment. Why? Because looking at my Amazon purchase history, I've gone through no less than 4 different cable linked bluetooth earphones ranging from $20-$40, and they were all HORRIBLE. For a truly wireless earphones at this price range, the sound quality was a very pleasant surprise. They have different characteristics, but I would say they're comparable to the wired Sennheiser CX300 and better than the AKG tuned Samsung earbuds, but with too much bass. However, these Anker earphones are FAR more comfortable than both of the wired ones I own. Also, the build quality far exceeds other earphones at this price range. They feel premium, with a soft texture, even on the case. The case is small, well made, and charges via USB-C. Earphones fit well, and don't shift in my ear when I turn my head as the cable linked bluetooth earphones do. And unlike one reviewer's complaint, the earphones can get VERY loud, and with the right fit and no sound leakage, you're just asking for ear damage at high volumes.I chose this model because 1. these were just released with the newest tech, such as aptX, 2. active noise cancelling, 3. longer battery life from the stem design, and 4. IPx7. These will be my everyday earphones for commute, with the bigger headphones reserved for long flights.TLDR: I have some experience with audio. I bought two sets, for me and my wife, and we both love them. Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt - these earphones are comfortable, have a lot of bass (too much without EQ), sound quality is acceptable at this price point (a compliment), and the build quality is excellent. These are definitely worth the $60 normal price, though I feel fortunate to have picked them up with the launch discount. If my experience changes after using them for a while, I'll come back and edit the review.

Life P2 is C2 for your Ears
While i have had Anker Soundcore LifeP2 for about month, I will only speak to how these earbuds have performed thus far. For the month I have had these, I will say this is the best quality earbuds I have had. If Anker charged me $170 for these buds, I would've shelled out the money regardless. Thats how good a product this is. Again Im not much for the idea of something fitting in your budget, because if its important you'll spend what you think its good for you and you want the buds to perform at its best and purest form for at least beyond the length of its warranty. Anker has always made a sound quality product and have set the price for its products that makes it affordable for most if not all. What i love most about the Life P2 is its versatility. I have used these ear buds to make calls through my Iphone, which i never really did with previous earbuds Ive had because the mic quality on most is garbage, and the ability to hear whoever is on the other line is distant meaning that from an audio perspective the acoustics for voice speaking wasn't adequate and they'd only be good for music. The Life P2 is good on all fronts. Crisp sound to hear, and clarity to speak.Ive used the Life P2 for Zoom calls and people have said that my voice is more clear and better than the internal mics that are used the MacBook Airs. The Life P2 is actually a really solid pair of earbuds for physical activity use & workouts. Since COVID-19 Ive done personal workouts with my Trainer using the P2's via Zoom outdoors and have been able to hear and speak with clarity. That says a lot for me because when you're outside ambient noises distort and distract but no issues there. Their noise cancellation isn't stellar but for me i think its more than adequate for myself and does the needful. So i feel like Ive put the Life P2 to the test in accordance to my usage-lifestyle.I will say that the only drawback is the distance. How far away can i move with the earbuds away from my cell before it cuts out. I have noticed that sparingly when my phone is connected and i'm listening to music the earbuds cut out sightly, but it doesn't bother me as much as long as it doesn't shut down automatically or pop on inadvertently like other earbuds i've purchased in the past.Button Usage - a little sensitive but very responsive and easy to use which is a plus for meComfort - Ive found them to be very comfortable. Ive had them on for more than an hour riding my bicycle and have also had them on during my runs. Only a few times do i adjust not from discomfort but because i sometimes feel like it maybe loose. This could be a negative but nothing i don't always do to assure the earbuds are secured in my ears.Battery Life and Charge - This is a big win for me, Ive said in my previous review of another earbud i purchased regrettably. You cant really give any review or consider a product quality when you cant get a legitimate charge to your earbuds. I don't care how fancy it looks or is built. No charge or issues charging the earbuds is non-starter automatic 1 star product in my opinion. Life P2 blows away the competition. They secure in the case They offer a legitimate charge, and when you automatically remove the buds from the case and add to your ear it tell you if the charge is high or low or will die out. This is a great feature to have. The case gives a solid quick charge in 15 mins for at least an hour. And you get a solid 2 hrs+ on your buds which is huge. It's a legitimate 2+ hrs. I think its more cause i haven't been in a situation that warrants keeping the buds for that long a period but knowing that is a bonus.Sound Quality- Best in the business as far as Im concerned. Solid on the lows/mids and bass has the kind of punch i like to hear when Im zoning.Im sure people will lean on Beats or Earpods, SkullCandy or Jabras but Life P2 can run with the big dogs no question here.Overall- This is as a good an earbuds as i have seen or listened with and it blows my mind how much i spent for these. i have already gotten my moneys worth on these earbuds. You will not be disappointed with these earbuds if you get them. These are a great all-purpose earbuds that will work to accommodate all aspects of your lifestyle and still provide a quality brand and feel your looking for especially if image/look is your thing.
