I did really enjoy making this, but it wasn't easy. The pieces are tiny! In my photo is a normal piece of Lego next to one of these pieces. As you can see, same size, many more dots, super tiny!While the instructions are clear (enough) it's a very different way of building to normal Lego. This reminds me more of a cross between a jigsaw puzzle and Lego. The very first bit you build is putting a layer of clear blue bricks on top of the biggest piece, by following the picture of where to place them, one picture, that's all. You really need to pay attention.There are many parts of building it where you start by placing a layer on nothing, just your table, and then fitting the next layer on top and so on, building a tower of bricks.If your eyesight isn't 20/20 you will quite possibly need a magnifier and a bright light, I certainly did.When putting the second layer together, after you've built the waterfall struts, you need to be careful when pressing the pieces down as it's supported by three struts that aren't equally placed, so too much pressure and you're likely to unseat the top layer and send bits flying.I really did enjoy making this and it's a beautiful piece. I was one tiny, one dot big, clear blue piece short, unless I lost it of course (entirely possible given the size!), but equally I did have spare pieces of other bits.I wouldn't suggest this is suitable for kids unless they are very experienced in Lego building, not just because of the size of the bricks but also because of the way the instructions are and how it is built.

Pieces are way to small

I ordered this for my daughter for Christmas and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived it is very pretty and excellent value for money.

absolutely gorgeous set, i got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he definitely has his work cut out for him as the pieces are so small and the instructions are a little complicated but i think it’s still worth it.however there was a few pieces missing from the set that i’m certain weren’t misplaced by us- so we are both a little let down. but beautiful set

I really enjoyed this cherry blossom-themed Lego-a-like build from Caximsy.The pieces are accurate, the instructions are good (enough) and it's impressive now that it's finished.Patience is required with this set though as it is fiddly and intricate at times (in fact mostly).I'd say only experienced builders need apply for this one - not advised for kids unless they really fancy the set or are experienced as progress is quite slow.I'd happily have a go at another Caximsy set when it comes along next.The treehouse sets looked a little bit too fiddly with lots of the same pieces so I'm glad I opted for the more elaborate cherry tree blossom design with case as there seems to be a bit more variety.Overall very satisfied with this one. Glad my glasses prescription was up to date though.5 stars from me.

This lovely blossom tree set will keep you entertained for a long time! This is lego type building blocks and there are so many it's almost hard to know where to start.However the final result is just beautiful and it's really worth the time and effort. Would make a lovely gift for someone.

A fun set to build for makers of LEGO Style sets and this is very clearly modelled after how the more well known LEGO brand. The instructions are easy to follow, creating a modern take on a traditional Japanese home with Cherry blossom trees. The instructions are clear and easy to follow though can prove a little fiddly at times near the final stages due to the number of micro pieces, at 3300 pieces to use, this is one that can be fiddly to manage and take time to complete but is very satisfying this is especially because my version actually came with its own clear display case you put together to over the model making it instantly displayable and protected from touching and dust and was not overly expensive either. Overall this is a very reasonably priced model set for what you get, a good fun project that will likely take multiple sessions due to the small pieces but the end result is something to look at at and be proud. It was a fun build but the small pieces certainly mean this is one not for young children without supervision.
