Provided the wire (50 amp) is in good shape and not grounded, their are probably to much draw on the circuit which would cause the breaker to trip off. Try turning off everything in the trailer off and turning on one breaker at a time.

Hello, Yes, this adapter will allow you to plug your 50 amp RV cord from your 5th wheel in, and run basic items on a 110v household extension cord. You will be limited to 15/20 amps depending on what the 110v circuit you plug into is rated at. lights, charging of battery's and light load items it will run fine, just don't expect to run the AC or any high amp devices, you'll just pop breakers.
