Great for cooking

Swerve is the best tasting sweetener and does not cause allergic reactions for our family. It can be used 1 to 1 like sugar and works well for our gluten- free, dairy-free, sugar- free baking.

I usually use Stevia, but recently found out that it shouldn't be used for baking or in hot drinks. Heat will start to break Stevia down at temperatures above 400 degrees Fahrenheit. I was glad when I found Swerve, but noticed that it didn't have as much of the brown sugar taste as the Stevia, so I had to add more.

What can I say. It was just what I expected. And I didn't have to go to the grocery store.

I recently had my AC1 test come back saying I was pre-diabetic. I eliminated all added sugar from my diet. The hardest part was drinking my coffee, which I like a little sweet. I tried Monk fruit and that was better than the rest of the artificial swetners, but still tasted funky. I switch to Sweerve brown sugar and it really is the best. Not 100% like real sugar, but about 98%. Good enough. I also use it in my cooking from time to time and you can't tell the difference. I made an apple tart and when I told my picky friend afterwards that it was sugarfree she was amazed. She "hates" sugar alternatives, so she saids, but she couldn't tell.
