First time using a phone holder like this and I love it! Safer than keeping my phone in my lap when following directions and I don’t have to worry about the charging cable getting in the way. I loved how simple this was to install, just a quick spin to lock it in place and it never slips out of the vent. I do wish the ball joint had a bit more tension only because I have the IPhone Xs Max and it’s a little heavy so it tends to tilt, but only over time or after some big bumps. I do have a thin case on my phone, so I had to use the provided magnet to help For the most part it’s strong enough to keep my phone upright during the drive.

Recently, I ordered from another seller and the brand name was Hussell, I paid much more and received a used product which was broken and the broken parts don’t even match with the product. Nice little product, does what it says, clamps could be a touch sturdier but for the price, it most certainly works as intended and just fine. I have only owned a few days but its nice being able to just slap my phone to it, instead of putting it in a cup holder or such.Downside - There is a large Square magent with sticky tape, and a pop socket sized one, you have to attach to your case/phone/pop socket - I put the large square one on the inside of my case (S9+) and it holds it just fine, buuuuuut it interferes with wireless charging, so I have to take the case off if I want to use my wireless charging. Only downside to me so far.Other than that, nice product for the money! Well done!

The magnet is not as strong as other mounts that I have. Although the clamp can be tightened to the vent, it an still slip off. Still, for the money, it is a good value.

I have a Mini Cooper so attaching it to the vent does not work. But i secured it to the cd slot, which I don’t use anyway. I have not even had to adjust it. Very secure and strong. My phone is in a heavy case and it stays put, never flies off. This is the second one I bought because my car was broken into and they stole the first one.

Make sure you have an extremely light cell phone. I have an iPhoneX and it was not strong enough to hold the phone. A completely annoying waste of money. AND you can't return it, so you're stuck with it. I have no idea why this is an Amazon Choice. I always buy their choices, but this one is a waste.

What an incredible magnetic car mount. Holds on to vents very firmly. Phone doesn’t move at all even on bumpy roads. * One caveat, if you have a phone with QI charging like I do with my iPhone XS Max, you need to decide whether you want to give up the QI charging as you need to put their metal plate on back of case or phone to connect to the magnetic holder.

I bought this on recommendation from my son. He says others fall off the dash. Because this connects to the air conditioning vent it doesn't come loose. Just make sure you place the metal disc under your phone cover not on the cover and place it so that it doesn't block air flow . Works great!
