Installing stalling this pump was a bad choice
Not sure if it's an isolated from incident, but installed the pump yesterday. At first start up the flange for the fan pressed on the impeller shaft came off. This sent the fan into the radiator. Now I have a radiator with a huge hole in it, a shattered fan shroud, a torn belt, and a truck that still doesn't run.

Good fit, worried about longevity.
Pump fit fine, and was an easy install. It is very noisy though. It works so far, but has that "going to have to change the water pump soon" sound all the time.
