Now Designs Freddy Fox Tea Cosy

Gave this as a gift to a tea loving friend. Appeared to be made well. Thickly insulated cozy. Recipient loved the fabric pattern and said it keeps tea very hot.

This is a great Tea Cozy design. It is heavily Padded on the inside and fits my Corning 6 Cup Tea Pot rather well. My tea stays HOT for over an hour with this cozy! The inside label says outer is 100% cotton and Inner is 100% Polyester. It is made in India and has directions for machine washing and drying. But it has one problem. If I had a week or two to exchange it, I would. There just isn't enough time to wait for an exchange.. As my photo shows, the side seam is missing several stitches. I will have to do my best to stitch it up, hopefully making the repair discreet enough for gift giving. I am fairly certain that the flaw in my tea cozy is rare because the rest of it is sewn well and seems to be designed for daily use. If other patterns I like become available, I will not hesitate buying one for myself.

My teapot, a brown Betty type, is 15 1/2 cups (124 oz), 8 1/2" tall same for diameter of bowl. The circumference from the tip of the spout round the handle is 31". If your teapot is this size it will not fit. Apart from that it looks well made. I didn't like that all the patterns were unavailable except Freddie the Fox.

The media could not be loaded.  The tea cosy ended up being darker colors than the picture. For me that is awesome because the dark blue is navy which is what I’d prefer. I purchased this cosy because I liked the pattern not because of the colors. IF YOU ARE PURCHASING FOR COLOR beware it is darker than pictured the “sea blue” is more of a stone blue. And the “mint green” is more of a sage green. And the “coral pink/orange is more of a red color. So over all I am happy with this purchase. So happy! But just beware of color differentiations.Size it is tall. My pot is globe brand pot and it’s 6 cup pot (I believe)Update: Oh also! The function of a tea cosy is to keep tea hot and this does the job!! Piping hot tea until the last drop when using this!

I am an avid loose leaf tea drinker. I mainly make full pots with a capacity of 48 oz, to give a reference point on size. For all these years I endured the pot cooling off before I’m done. I’d wrap a towel around it but not too effective.I kept looking for a teapot cozy over the last few months. Most didn’t seem to have the thickness to insulate well, or were not of a design I liked, or were much more than what I was willing to pay.This cozy is absolutely the perfect fit in all ways. It physically fits the teapot well, not tight or too snug. Goes all the way to the bottom, giving best insulation. The outer cover is a good quality cotton, print is good quality too. Stitching is well done. The feel overall does speak to quality. Value for the money is quite high. A must buy.The teapot keeps hot to warm for 4 hours in a 72 F degree room.

Love: how well it keeps the teapot hot, the adorable print and quality in person is all excellent.One warning! It is darker shades in person, the picture online looks slightly pinker, maybe a bit paler. Example the liquid in the cups of tea on the print is very much true brown in person., whereas it's a light brown in the images. Ironically it matches the teapot I bought and my accent wall in my kitchen WAY better, so I love it. Also that totally doesn't take away from the cuteness.

OLD REVIEW: I took a long time deciding whether to buy this, but unfortunately failed to read all the negative reviews. I was attracted by the pattern, but this thing is HUGE, and the pattern doesn't look as good in person and is too dominating for a small kitchen. It's too big even for my big teapot, and doesn't cover it well on the bottom. I haven't even taken the tag off, and wish I'd returned it but I was so upset when I opened the package I just put it aside. This kind of item would be better to look at in a store, where you can see and feel what you're getting.UPDATE 2018: Have changed my mind, even though it is pretty big. I put the pot on a pot holder and this over it and it keeps the tea so warm, both my small and larger pot. And I do love the colors and pattern.

Holds heat in teapot long enough for second cup of tea 10-15 min later without reheating.

This lovely pot cozy arrived a few days ago. I make my coffee in a Melita coffee pot, There is no heat to keep the coffee warm once its made I found it cooled rather rapidly so I ordered this "cozy". Wow!The coffee stays HOT inside the cozy for a hours.Love it!

Keeps my tea pot hot as hell. Like seriously scalding. I poured myself a cup of tea then put the cozy over the rest of the pot and when I went for another cup like 20-30 mins later I was expecting the tea to still be hot but not this hot. Like I somehow feel the tea was hotter then when I put it under the cozy. It made the entire pot hot and when I grabbed it to pour another glass it burnt me. It was crazy hot.It's also nice and large. I have a fairly standard tea pot and it has a ton of room in there and I could easily go get a bigger pot and still have it fit.The design is awesome and makes having tea less lame and more outdoorsy and dare I say cool.Anyways. I'd buy it again if this one got stolen or something and I needed a new one.

Very good at breakfast time. Lovely colour, very soothing . Tall enough to cover a big pot of tea. I have several, but this one, shaped like a fox and another one like an owl, are my favourites.

The tea cozy is good quality, but it has no openings for the spout or handle, and consequently is HUGE to accommodate them. Not what I am used to and definitely not what I want (I don't want to have to remove the cozy every time I pour a cup of tea, and have to hold a hot lid in place). The colour is also a fair bit lighter blue than pictured.

I had measured my pot and according to size indicated in the add it should have got but when it arrivesd it was one and a half inches shorter then advertised. I sent it back did not fit as it was too.small
