I wish I knew about this stuff sooner. Yes it's a little pricey but it lasts a long time and it really boosts your dog. My dog can be fussy but he liked the taste over his usual food as well. A really good product. I would buy again.

Our Experience: Only just bought after hours/days of research and worrying about spending the money on something that may or may not work. I know your not supposed to, and do not encourage others to do the same, but being an all natural product decided to taste it before giving it to our poorly dog. I put a couple of drops on my tongue and YES it does taste strong and you do get a warming sensation from it which was quite comforting (to a human who understands what's going on). I can only guess that this warming is from the ginger content. I personally can't taste any bacon flavour. I then mixed two-three drops into some greek yoghurt and manuka honey to see if I could taste it; I couldn't really taste it in the yoghurt which is promising for the point of administering to a pet. I'm trialing this product and will introduce this product very slowly as don't want to make our dog any sicker than he is already, so I shall update as I go along. A representative of pet well being told me mushroom gold is very gentle on the system and also recommended Life Gold and Kidney Formula for our sick dog (as they are all, apparently, gentle and work well together). I'm sticking with the mushroom gold for now and will consider the others if this product proves helpful. I will say at this point there is absolutely NO WAY I would administer this to a pet without 'diluting' it in food first. The product contains ginger and gives a warming sensation, I put two drops on my tongue this morning and can still feel it in my throat 7 hours later. In my mind, a dog or cat is not going to understand what is warming (or burning their throats in their minds) and I can imagine it being very distressing for any pet and owner. It's important to note I'm experimenting with just a couple of drops at this stage and not the recommended daily dose of 2.5 teaspoons.Will update soon.

PLEAE READ THIS COMPLETELY.One of my cats has FIV so his immune system is low so I would try most anything to try and help with his condition.I am not saying that this works or does not work, however my cat took one smell of it and ran away as it has a nasty smell and is very strong. There is no way that I can see any cat wanting to take this on its own but also I cannot honestly see any cat wanting to take it if it were mixed in with food. I administered the liquid with a syringe and my cat on his first dose started coughing and put him under a lot of stress. I managed a second dose and the same thing happened, on the third dosage he was also coughing and then was sick, very stressed and tried to hide. Daft as this may sound after reading what it is made from and nothing that would harm me I decided to try just a tiny drop - few! flipping heck! it burned the back of my throat and also made me cough and had the most awful taste. So I dread to think how my cat must have felt. No way will I give this to my cat ever again or would I give to any of my others, maybe dogs of a large size and because they have a larger throat can manage it better but please believe me that the liquid is extremely strong and really burns very similar to strong acid bile - which most people would have experience sometime or other bringing bile up and needing to drink water straight away. If you wish to try this for your cat please be very very careful and be prepared to send it back, thank goodness they offer a 90 day money back guarantee how this works if you buy it direct I don’t know I bought it obviously from Amazon through Amazon Prime so I could return it straight away. Maybe or I think definitely it would be a good idea for the company to sell tiny non-profit making samples for people to try first, please take the time to read the other reviews on Amazon and anywhere else too rather than reading the reviews on the companies own website. Personally I don’t think that this is a good choice for cats I hope this has helped and it is a true and honest review.

I feel compelled to write a review about this product which I very rarely do. My dog was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December 2019 and the vet gave the very based case prognosis of 60 days. I was devastated and immediately started researching for options. I came across this product and figured it was worth a go. Well here we are nearly 2yrs on and my dog is thriving! Of course I can’t know what influence this product truly had on his outcome but I do know he’s still with me and it’s nothing short of miraculous. I’ve no wish to give anyone false hope but if you’re as desperate as I was 2 years ago and you want to give your dog every chance then just try it.

For the price the bottle lid has leaked out several times and I am concerned that as the bottle isn’t sealed the contents will spoil, for £70 I’m a little disappointed the bottle couldn’t be properly designed to be sealed… if there is a reason for this surely there is a way to prevent it from spilling???The effect it has had on our dogs has been amazing I am just disappointed in the poor quality of the lid…
