This is my favorite mineral sunscreen. I like the “kid’s” version of this because (1) the container is smaller and easier to transport, and (2) it’s a fun color lol.Also, honestly the regular/‘adult’ version of this sunscreen also has more color/tint added to it and you need to choose between a couple of shades. This kid’s sunscreen does have a bit of a tint to it, but I didn’t have to choose between options and it seems to be very light coverage as far as the color goes. I do use it as a bit of a ‘powder’ in addition to the sunscreen benefits.I know that mineral sunscreen needs more regular re-application and isn’t necessarily as effective as chemical sunscreen, so I do keep that in mind (hence the ease/portability of the kids size). After several re-applications, I do feel like there’s a bit of a build-up of the powder, so sometimes I’ll use a face cleansing wipe and start fresh. I wear very little makeup, so there’s no impact there.I will say that for an all-day day outside with lots of sun exposure, I always also use a chemical sunscreen (usually one of the Neutrogena 50-70SPF ones that doesn’t clog pores) and I use this mineral sunscreen on top of that and for easy re-application during the day. For context, I am incredibly fair and get sunburned *incredibly* easily.I do offer this sunscreen to my partner and/or friends while out and about, and it’s easy for them to do a quick brush on of the mineral powder instead of rubbing in regular sunscreen while on the move.I usually have at least 3 containers of this stuff between my house/car/purse on a regular basis… which reminds me that I’m probably due to order another one.

This mineral powder SPF brush has been a game changer for sun protection! My toddler actually loves putting it on herself — it feels like a fun activity instead of a sunscreen battle. No more tears or resistance during application, and I love that it goes on mess-free with no white residue. It’s lightweight, effective, and perfect for quick touch-ups throughout the day. I wanted to give this duo a try for my kids, and I have to say—the powder sunscreen is a total win! It’s super easy to apply, avoids the typical sunscreen meltdown (no tears!), and it actually works really well.The balm, however, I’m not a huge fan of. While it provides great coverage, it does leave a shiny, slightly sticky finish that’s not ideal—especially for squirmy kiddos who don’t want to feel “gross.” 😅🌞 Powder = yes, yes, YES💧 Balm = effective but a little too heavy👶 Great option for sensitive skin and on-the-go reapplicationWould definitely repurchase for the powder alone—perfect for quick touch-ups without the mess!

The container is very hard to deal with and very littleProduct will come out. Do not even think about this as a sun protective touch up for kids, not enough will be applicable to be protective. Ladies if you’re thinking you’ll use this as a touch up to make up that will be sun protective it’s an exercise in frustration. The product seems a silky texture but that’s the only plus I can give it, with what little come out. With other products of its kind, you can see the product coming out. I’m going to break open the container and put the product in something else.

The media could not be loaded. I have used my daughters and it works great, but the one I got will not open and cannot get any powder out! I have tried over and over can someone help or send me a new one!!

My child is blond and basically has no hair and hates hats. So this was a game changer. You can’t see it once applied(he is pretty pale) and it’s fragrance free. We also use it on his face and it’s never a fight. He likes the brush so much when he sees it he asks you to put it on him. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to get the powder to come out. You have to turn the base in the direction the arrow shows you. It is written small so I understand why people said this was a problem. You can see the powder come out when you are in the right light which makes me feel better. I have even started to use it. It is a tantrum preventer and a great buy!

I use this powder at Disneyland and on sunny days so far me and my boys have not burned. I’m still testing it out but as of right now, I think it’s a good product to try out if your kids don’t like sunscreen on their face.
