The seeds take time (1-2 weeks) to sprout.
I germinated the seeds for 3 days before planting in a seedling mix. I have a grow box and put them in there. It took a bit over a week (even 2 weeks) for sprouts to appear and I got about an 85% return on sprouts to seeds planted. Our soil in this part of Florida is loaded with nematodes and I learned the hard way not to plant peppers in the ground. I did two batches of seedings and transplanted the first batch into small containers before they go into the larger pots tha will be their home. The seedlings look pretty healthy but I won't know what the yield is for at least a month or two.The seedlings are all flowering as of late April.Late July: One plant is fruiting. It's late July and one of the plants is fruiting after several months of dropping flowers. Several of my larger plants were attacked by hornworm caterpillars and nearly stripped. They'll survive but are slowed drastically. As for the fruit: I like heat but this blew my mind. I'll turn these into chili powder. I put part of one in my chili and it lit me up. I've never had a fresh ghost pepper. It is super-hot. Wow.

Believe the hype, but not the complaints
I wanted to try growing a Ghost pepper plant but have heard over and over again how difficult they are to actually get going. So I decided to give it a try, bought they, and stuck them in my fridge where I forgot about them for about 2 weeks. I pulled them out, threw them directly into a seed sponge for my iDoo hydroponic garden (I put 3 seeds in each pod because of the stories or horrible germination). Took about 10 days and guess what? 3 sprouts from each of my seed pods! Crap. 100% germination and how I have to try and separate them. Separating didn't work well because of the nature of the seed pods and rooting that happened so I trimmed two out and left just one. Little buggers took a bit to really get going but they are on a roll and look beautiful! I'll be picking up more of these for sure. Don't hesitate on these things, just get some if you're into hot peppers.

Recieved these on Feb 25, 2025. Started them the same day with heat mat. We are in April right now. No germination at all =(

They are alive!
This is the success rate after planting 25 seeds, I think ok with this. This is after 6 weeks.

Fantastic Customer Service - Mike Stands Behind His Product!
I planted these on the 7th of October. I placed them on a heating pad set to 85. Kept consistently moist but not too soggy and saw no germination after a month and a half. Yes, I understand this is winter; however, some of my more mature pepper seedlings are thriving indoors and I planted several other pepper cultivars at the same time, which sprouted and are growing. Most people would automatically go and leave a bad review, instead, I visited their website https://ohioheirloomseeds.com/p/about-ohs and learned about their unconditional seed guarantee.I called the owner, Mike Dehlendorf at (Six One Four) 554-4657 and told him what I had done while planting and what results it had yielded. He is professional, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, stands behind his product. He told me that 1.5 months to germinate is way too long and he would send me some replacement seeds today. I am giving a 5-star review due to his customer service. I am excited to put these in my AeroGarden Farm 24XL and see if I have better results. I can't wait to put these in some salsa with my homegrown tomatoes next year!

Hot garbage!
Terrible packaging leads to damaged seeds. The pack looked like it was run over by a truck. Most if not all seeds were damaged. Not a single one germinated.Edit:Finally two sprouts two weeks later. Fingers crossed.

Ghost Pepper Seeds
These are the real deal and I had 100% germination. They take awhile to grow and mature. I'm completely satisfied with my order and if need be would order again.Edit Nov 4 2024: Still producing peppers and they have a great flavor! I even made a Mango Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce! It goes great with different foods. Pork, Chicken ect.

Genuine ghost pepper seeds!
At the time I ordered these, I had also ordered reaper seeds from a different seller. After months of work growing these, I'm glad atleast ONE of them were the right seeds. These are genuine ghost pepper seeds, and they grew well. I definitely reccomend this seller 1000% thank you for not dissapointing!P.s. the pepper pictured is green due to me picking them early thanks to hurricane Dorian. In case my plants didnt survive, so I'd have seeds for next seasonEDIT: Have alot more peppers now, and alot ripening. Picked one, and let me warn you, DONT EAT THEM RAW!! Holy s#!t that's hot! If your dumb enough to eat raw, as I was, have a cup or 5 of milk ready to go. Had to try it straight due to hearing they look like ghost peppers but weren't. These are definitely genuine! For those saying they arent, hopefully you just got a bad batch. Pepper seeds all look similar. I definitely got good ones, but I'm not discrediting those that say they weren't ghost peppers, as I had that experience with those reaper seeds that were poinsettias.
