Simple assembly with a kindergartner. The light show is fun because there are 3 light sources (red, green, blue). As the light shade turns, it projects patterns and the R,G,B projections seem to move around each other. For example on the fish shade, the red, green and blue fish circle around each other in space.

This was so fun to work on with my 5 year old! We experimented together with this set and the beginner set. By adding pieces together, adding switches diodes, etc. I would say that this set with the beginner Snap Circuit set is a winning combination! Can’t wait to try other sets.

I bought this for my five year old nephew for his birthday. He and I had fun putting it together and figuring out the circuit. He has had other circuit activities so was familiar with how it worked. It was pretty easy to use. He enjoyed it.
