Very Bright!
I am using these for Xmas lights in the front of my house. A couple years ago, I put up (another brand) RGB LED strips along our gutters for Xmas lights, and it was a fun project. Unfortunately, I had color issues with the LED strips (the resistance of long runs cause the color to shift noticeably). The adhesive on the LED strips also was not very good, and they would eventually fall off in the wind.I really like these modules. I installed them in a very similar way (using my existing controllers and remote) and there is no color shift issues. The adhesive appears strong, but time will tell. I've had one module that doesn't look right, and I'll probably swap it out (by cutting the wires and using the provided connectors to splice it in place). Trying to fix an LED strip is a much more frustrating experience. They are very bright (compared to the LED strips). My wife asked me to turn the intensity down because they are so bright.

Outdoor Signage backlighting
I purchased these for ease of installation on the back side of a steel sign for a storefront. I have a couple of issues with them.1. The first strand (20 modules of 3 LEDs) I was prepping to mount had a failure of the blue LEDs on the module closest to the power source. No big deal, I cut it off, resoldered the power wires on and was back in business. (with 19 modules)2. I was adding a string of modules to the sign about one each night, but by the third night, the ones I added on the first night were starting to fall off. NO, the adhesive strip was not releasing from my metal sign, the modules were releasing from the adhesive tape. If fact, it was quite a chore to remove the remaining tape from my sign since I had to replace ALL of them with 3M automotive trim tape. So NO, it had nothing to do with my prepping the surface. Which brings me to the third thing.3. As the modules released from the original tape, the back of each module was exposed. To my surprise, there were 3 or 4 holes in the back of the modules and I could literally touch the PC Board inside the module. This means that WHEN their tape fails, the internal components in the LED modules will be exposed to rain and moisture.4. I was adding the third string to the sign and was using 3M tape to do so, and I noticed the lights not attached to the sign flashed on and off as if there was a break in a wire. I messed with it until I could duplicate the issue at an obvious anomaly in the wiring. Fortunately I was able to cut that spot out, and splice it back together.Word to the wise, these things get super hot (cannot hold them in your hand) when cranked all the way up, and they also use 0.96W per module. Three strands equals 60W @ 12V aka 5Amps. You are going to need a power supply and controller that can handle it.Good Luck!**UPDATE**Just over a month with the sign installed and the modules are literally melting. I'm sure that the fact they are mounted to the back of a steel sign on the front of a building in a Tennessee summer isn't helping their condition. Regardless, I need something far more robust than these modules are. The colors are also starting to fail on these probably due to the heat. One star because I am really disappointed with the situation and the added work of taking the sign back down and re-lighting it with something else.Follow up, The 3year Warranty??? Good luck.

Lasted less than 30 days before diodes quit in some of the lights
The media could not be loaded. Was really hoping to be a decent light but multiple lights WITHIN the sections of strips have colors that do not work or are faded and dead within just 30 days of use, very disappointed as it takes time and materials to install these lights nicely
