Rolson 60330 100 mm Magnifying Glass

Well worth the price however please note the magnification is 1.5 which is not much. I purchased it for my nephew who collects stamps and thought he would have fun using it to look at his collection. I gave it to him in the packaging it arrived in from Amazon figuring he would have fun opening the package. After using it he told me he thought it was broken. I asked him how so? He handed it to me and I could not see anything wrong with it. Then I looked at at something using it to do so. It turns out it has a low level of magnification. It was not suit for purpose in my nephews case. If a low level of magnification is what you are looking for it is a great choice. In my case I retuned the one I received.

I'm getting on a bit and my eyesight isn't what it is, so I decided it was time to get a cheap magnifying glass. It's not as strong as I expected but it magnifies things enough so I can read it. I expect it also works on a sunny day to start a camp fire too, haven't tried that though.

Nice magnifying glass but be aware that at 1.5x magnification not that powerful. Should really state this in the description

large clear magnifying glass, just as described, helpful for hobbies, reading small print etc

The product description on Amazon said 3X magnification deep in the specifications. What I received was of 1.5X magnification. Apart from that it looks well made and sturdy. it will do for my purposes so I'll keep it.

Unfortunately, itemed arrived broken. The postage packaging came in perfect condition. The item was already wrapped in its own packaging and was broken before I opened it. The packet it came in was very dirty and dusty. Really disappointed, as was purchasing this as part of my kids world book day costume.
