Sony Ericsson Equinox Tm717 3g GPS RSS Reader Stereo Bluetooth T-mobile Cell Phone

I must say, I LOVE this little phone. My last one died out and I wanted another one, so was lucky enough to find it here and new on amazon. For people like me, that just want to use a phone for what a phone is for, its perfect. It has lots of options, great texting, messaging, can get online when needed, camera, etc...but its still just a great everyday phone. I am not wanting to take on a smartphone yet, as my Mac does all that for me. So for now, this is great for another couple years I hope! As far as the peeling paint issues, my previous one did do that, so I just bought a skin for it and who would ever know. I still love the phone for its ease of use and very cool features it offers.

I bought this as a cheap backup for my own Equinox. Mine is beat up, and the seller said this one would be beat up too, so I knew this would not be a pretty phone. It wasn't, and that's OK. The phone seems to work fine, and it came with a charger so now I have a backup for my whole system for much less $$ than a new phone.It arrived very quickly - much quicker than I expected. Very happy with the seller.

This is my third Tm717 Sony Ericsson (they appeal to me, but, I have a problem with getting them wet). My issue with the last purchase was, I bought a "New" phone through Amazon. The phone looked good but the box and contents had obviously been disturbed. Since my history with Amazon was good I started using the phone, but soon discovered that the graphics on the outside of the flip lid were not working. This means you can not tell who is calling until you open the lid to answer. I also later realized that the ear piece was missing from the box. Something is wrong with my Sony Ericsson Equinox Tm717 cell phone. Sometimes when I press the phone buttons to access information, it freezes up. So far, eventually it will work...but I can't help thinking that I was duped. Surely, the person who sent me a phone knew what was wrong, or didn't test it enough.

I'm still sticking with this one, though SE no longer makes it and so TM no longer carries. This is probably why the price rocketed from 129 last year to 300!

The looks and design of phone appears fine if I was only able to use it. This is a T-Mobile phone and I am on the ATT plan and my sim card does not allow me to use or operate this phone. Thus, it is useless after repeated attempts to unlock it. Please email me return instructions. I had contacted the shipper and was told they were contacting Amazon to have these instructions emailed to me since they did not have the permission from you to do that.PLEASE [email protected]

I recieved my sony ericsson tm717 phone to find that only the apperance of the phone was correct . As far as it functioning it is defective .. When you open the phone the screen will not light up , in order to see the screen you have to open and close the phone several times in order for the screen to light up, and when it finally does only half of the screen is visable.. I want my money back!!!

The cell phone is all that I'd expected and it arrived in a timely fashion unlike the memory card to my dismay which was ordered at the same time !
