Sophisticated Yet Rustic
Placemats have a beautiful “neutral” pattern that mimics flagstone. Planning to use them on a sun porch table that is a little rustic. They are thick, hard mats that will add some stability to the table setting. Perfect!!

Heavy duty placemats
The placemats are strong and sturdy. Very easy to clean.

Paper-like material - do not recommend
I decided to splurge on this set of four placemats. However, after about the second time using them I noticed a hole on the top surface on two of the placemats. I contacted the company as instructed by Amazon but the company - Pimpernell - stated there was nothing they could do. If any moisture remains on the placemat after use it will dissolve the blue paper like covering. For now I’ve put a little piece of duct tape on each of the two holes. I do not recommend this product. I’ve bought cheap ones from Aldi which holdup a lot better.

Beautiful surprise
These are perfect for my glass top table. Pretty enough to leave on daily. They look fabulous with both contemporary and traditional settings great value for the money. Easy to wipe clean. Sorry for the sun spots but y get the idea. Happy here!

Not worth the money
Product has edges peeling up after a few weeks, and very difficult to keep these glossy mats looking clean. Poor quality.

Pretty
Pimpernel are always top quality-attractive, and they protect your table. This bigger size was a bonus!

Not the quality they used to be
After a few days more than a month, I have a chip in these not inexpensive placemats. I have had Pimpernel placemats for years and it was time for a new set, so I bought eight. In my mind, a one-month warranty indicates they don't have much faith in their product. I've only ever wiped them clean with a damp cloth and never dropped it or dropped something on it. I'm the only one using and, therefore, cleaning them and haven't have occasion to use all of them. I guess I'm old enough to expect quality products from companies that had the reputation for quality products and expecting them to stand behind what they sell. Silly me.
