Woolbuddy Owl Needle Felting Kit

I was pretty disappointed with this. As never having felted before, I read "Easy" and being a pretty advanced crafter, thought it would be easy. First since the wool was not smooth, but a semi-sheet of stringy strands, I couldn't get it rolled into a "tight egg shape." It had lumps. I thought, well, just poke it with the needle, that will smooth it out. Not happening. I went to a local hobby store and bought some wool to see if it was better and try to get an owl. It is a smooth sheet that I should be able to roll into the egg shape. The instructions are printed on a little sheet of paper with meniscal print. I will probably scan and enlarge so I can easily read it. All you get for you money is one big blob of white and some small color blobs and two needles and the instructions. Big waste of money.
