I recently decided to try my hand at canning and purchased this Canning Kit, and I’m so glad I did! It has everything I need to get started, and the food-grade stainless steel tools are durable and easy to use.Whether I’m making jams, pickles, or sauces, this kit has come in handy for all my canning needs. It’s perfect for beginners like me but would also be a great addition for experienced canners. Highly recommend this set if you’re looking to dive into the world of canning!

Adequate for my needs. It would have been better to have stainless funnel than plastic

The canning tools are up a notch and a big help. The forceps like tool is perfect for lifting the jars out of the bath. The pinching tool is good for holding the hot bottle while you put on the ring. Quality on those two is good. Depth gauge and air bubble removing tool adequate it's little more that a heavy plastic knife but it can help accuracy in keeping the right air space under the lid. Funnel a must. If I really got serious I would buy a SS funnel but this one does the job. The lid attaching magnetic tool is from the by-gone-days. On Ball's website they state it is only necessary to wash the new lids and preheating has been found to be unnecessary so finger holding works but you don't want to touch the underside, of couse. The SS ladle is cheap and on the small side. I plan to buy a bigger one or just use a one cup measure so be able to fill the jar quickly. There were so many choices that all looked similar but with a wide range of prices. I just picked one the harvest is on.
