This PUR PLUS replacement filter is a total win. It fits perfectly in my PUR pitcher and starts working right away. You can taste the difference in the water it’s crisp, clean, and has no weird aftertaste. I love that it’s certified to reduce lead and other contaminants, which gives me peace of mind about what I’m drinking every day.The filter lasts a good while with regular use, and swapping it out is super easy no mess, no fuss. These things are so show to filter the water, especially if using the filter that removes 3x more vs 2x more. However it's worth it. Our city water tastes and smells like the YMCA community pool with how much chlorine is in it. This filter removes all hints of taste and smell. Finally a filter that actually works!

This product was in a brown envelope. The box inside was opened at the bottom. I was concerned if the filter was cracked or not. It was marked “Not for individual sale” but I only ordered one. Other than the above, the filter was intact and works as it should. I would buy again.

I can only assume that these filters are taking out the things they say, as I have no way to test that, but the water tastes good. 4 stars because it takes FOREVER for water to filter through. The house rule is to replace the amount taken out immediately, so there will be some available for the next person. For the sake of having microplastics reduced, that's acceptable...but the Pūr pitcher is plastic, so...

PUR water filters are a total game changer... so crisp, clean, and unbelievably refreshing. It makes tap water taste like it came from a natural spring. I never knew water could taste this good, truly!

I've had no problems with these filters and they seem to do the job quite well.

I can’t believe I returned water filters.The O-ring on the threads has a smaller diameter. It doesn’t fit snugly AND even rattles and pops out.Clearly a manufacturing problem that should never have been shipped. Someone had to have found out and should have recalled them.I opened a second of the 3 in the pack to be sure.They just do NOT seal and are therefor unusable.Thought I should warn folks.The one star is for the filters. Amazon, of course, takes anything they ship back.UPDATE – My review went on-line, and I took a look. FYI – Amazon says I have ordered this 8 times. It’s more since I went through Walmart sometimes. Never had a problem till now.The review was hard to find so I sorted by “most recent”. That should show more recent problems. The recent reviews show mostly bad (stopped up) with a lot of “5 stars”. When you click on the 5 star reviewers, most of them give 5s to everything. I won’t go all “conspiracy theory” on you but that smells fishy. Then there is the fact that a bad run of filters would be masked by smaller O-rings letting the water go around the filter. Again, my only evidence is my experience, recent reviews, and speculation.In any case, I will be ordering some Aqua Crest knock offs for now. No telling when their bad run will either quit being sold or be sold out. There is just no way I got the only ones with small O-rings.

Best tasting, and for the people that can't understand. Pre rince your filter, shake it till it sound like sand shaking, rince one minute, and your water flow problem will end.... All I keep reading is flow problems, follow these steps, your flow problems will end.
