BlackBerry Leather Holster for BlackBerry Bold 9000

Some of the reviews state that this is just too small for the Bold 9000. At first, I thought this, too. But quickly realized why. And why I was wrong.The holster that came with the phone had you slip your phone in with the screen facing away from you. This one, however, has you flip the phone around, having the screen face toward you. The case is form-fitting, so if you try to put it in the original way, it's not going to go in properly. Flip the phone around and it slips in and comes out quite smoothly.I actually like this better because not only is the screen now completely protected (before it was slightly exposed on either side of the flap), but now when I need to answer a call, I just pull the phone out of the holster and to my ear. Before, you had to pull the phone out, flip it around and then answer. This provides a much more fluid movement.Great product!

This is a great hip clip similar to the original clip. I like this because it is Blackberry labeled and looks clean and professional. It worked perfectly and lasted about ten months. I used this clip everyday so the back of the spring clip was beginning to break and I have already ordered a replacement. I would highly recommend anyone to buy this clip who works and would like to free up some space in their pockets.

I call this case old reliable. I use this for my blackberry and it is great at keeping it protected and secure. I really put my phone cases through some abuse while working in the field. This case has been dropped, kicked, stepped on, and scuffed up, but it always kept my phone safe. I like the strong magnetic clasp it always shut even when I forgot to do it. My only complaint is that the plastic clip that attaches the case to your belt or pants broke. In all fairness this occurred after I had used the case for almost a year. However even with this issue I still purchase 2 more of these cases over the 5 years that I owned my Blackberry. My son uses the case now to hold his Yugioh cards.

This case is not quite the same as the original that came with my Blackberry Bold. The materials seem to be about the same quality, but the case grips the phone too hard, and about half the time when I try to answer a phone call, the phone hangs up before I answer -- presumably because some button is being pushed as I pull the phone out.... It turns out that if you bend and shape the case a bit, you can avoid this -- so I'm changing the rating from 1 star to 2.

This case is not a replacement for the OEM Case. It is a little too narrow, and tends to depress keyboard keys when the Blackberry is put into the case. Also, there is no hole for the charging plug, so you have to pull the phone up to charge in the case.

My fiance had used this holster for over a year, and because of his fondness of it, the holster finally wore down and he decided it was time for a new holster. We looked at several different holsters for the phone, and in the end he still wanted the same one. Very practical, sturdy, and sleek. Thank you :)

This holster arrived and as soon as I opened the package I could tell I was going to be disappointed. The "leather" feels very thin and fake. The magnet does not come close to holding the case shut, and even when the two sides of the magnet are an inch apart, the magnets are not strong enough to pull the two sides together! The inside of the flap was already cracking and the portion of the holster that covers the phone has the thickness of newspaper. It also seems to be more paddle shaped than I remember my original case.I immediately went down to a nearby Staples and bought an "OEM" BlackBerry case. While I paid $35 for the "real" case, it was well worth it. This case isn't worth the $10 I paid for it...Thats what I get for trying to save a few bucks!!! Just trying to save the next user from buying this junk! I cant believe that BlackBerry even makes something of such low quality!!! Is it really a BlackBerry product???

you cant go wrong with original equipment from blackberry. the quality was good and since I already owned one previously, I know it would fit.

The case is made of low quality leather, poorly stitched and has an inflexible back. It's too large for either a 9000 or 9700 Bold and the magnetic fastener is far weaker than anything I've encountered before from Blackberry. In short, it makes me wonder if it is in fact from Blackberry as it seems to have all the hallmarks of a Turkish knock-off.AS they say, 'Let the buyer beware'.

Cet étui protège bien le BlackBerry.Il vous laissera les mains libre et le pivot fait bien son travail.Cependant, une usure est apparu au niveau des côtés gauche et droit du cuir.Craquelage.Le cuir aurait mérité une meilleure qualité.
