If it's really cold, you can zip it all the way up to your chin, pull the hoodie strings down, and tuck your sleeves inside the front pockets. The heavy gi material is perfect for blocking out cold winds so you won't even feel it.The zippers on the pockets are a nice touch as well; maybe you don't want to give your opponents an extra handle to grab onto, or maybe you just want to secure your wallet/keys...but either way, they've got you covered. I ordered a size up, and I originally was sad because I thought it would shrink down to me. After a few washes, it felt like it was molding to my body and now I can't even go out without putting the jacket on. Buy it, and the only thing you'll think is to not ever take it off.
