Great door closer.
Great product. It vloses at the perfect speed. Not too slow not too fast. If it goes too fast you get squished. If it goes too slow it creaks. The door closer is great it opens really easy. It is adjustable. To the angleof your door. The screws are great. They are very strong. High quality product. Need a handy man to install as it is not very easy to install.

Make sure the door clears the side before installing
I made the mistake of not allowing for the fact the door was inset and of course when I attached it the side restricted the door from opening. But I moved it in a bit and now perfect. Easy to install with the correct tools I had to buy shorter screws - door was too thin - but works well and can be adjusted easily.

If you need the parallel plate be prepared for a long wait.
Great product, good communications and fast delivery. Item is fairly easy to fit but the instructions could be clearer; watching the video makes the fitting easier to understand. The main reason I have given it 4 stars and not 5 is because I needed the parallel plate, which doesn't come with the item. I ordered one within minutes of receiving the item but it took over a fortnight to arrive because it had to be sent from China! The door closer, now fully fitted and working, does exactly what it's supposed to do. It feels sturdy and looks of good quality. It closes my garage door, which is a fire door, effortlessly. I would certainly buy it again and have no hesitation in recommending it.

It's important that you read the diagram carefully before you start the fitting!

Has had to be altered a few times as it doesn't always close or stay open. Not the best but ok for price.

The item is not marked with BS EN1154
I purchased this item because it stated that it was compliant to BS EN1154 - The item is not marked as such, and there is no documentation in the box to confirm that it is compliant.Four instruction leaflets were enclosed - None of them were in English.Essentially, this was a waste of my time and money.I'm not even allowed to give it zero starsUnhappy of Sussex
