I love that this has 3 colors in one, I can use it on all colors of fabric and only need one to do it! All the colors work great and it is easy to use and refillable! Great quality and versability!

Multiple color marking in one pen so convenient

LOVE THIS! Since it's 3-in-1 I don't need 3 marking utensils out, I can get by with just this one. The instructions weren't clear on how to replace the different colored pencil leads so looked it up online. So easy to use too.

The three colors in one pen are great, and its nice for making very precise lines, like for transferring pattern details onto the fabric. My only issue is that the lead is significantly harder than chalk so you have to press hard for it to mark the fabric. It works well on stiffer fabrics where that's less of an issue, so I can see why it's popular with quilters. It barely works on polyester satin, and does not work at all on fabrics like fleece. It works surprisingly well on silk, and on the stretchy knit I tried it on, although holding the stretchy fabric in a way that you can apply pressure is an issue.

I have used a variety of marking tools and have yet to find the perfect tool. Well if this ain't it, then it doesn't exist. It has three colors so I can use the ONE pen on different type/colors of fabric without searching for the perfect color, oh yeah, and then trying to find the sharpener and then breaking the newly sharpened point, and having to start all over again. Then more chocolate is needed for all this frustration. I now just have this one pen and it meets my every need. Haven't had to replace the leads yet, but I don't see a problem (I hope). LOVE this marking pen.

I purchased this pencil to mark my quilt tops for the quilting process based on several good reviews and recommendations from various quilters and the instructor for my quilting course.I like the way it writes, the ease of selecting a lead color, and the crisp lines that are easy to see.However, the packaging does not include instructions — at least not in English — and I had to figure out how to extract the lead for use by trial and error.The product description indicates that the markings can be erased by applying water. However, there's no indication of how much water to use, how to apply the water, or what method to use to remove the marks. After some trial and error (again), I discovered that a small spray bottle of water and a fingertip or the end of the pencil work to remove the marks—unless it's the black lead! Nothing I did would completely remove the marks made with the black lead. The pink lead marks were removed with a small effort. I have not yet tested the white lead mark removal, but I do like that the white lead works well for marking dark fabric.I am not returning the item because it's still useful for sewing, but not for the specific purpose I bought it for: marking quilt tops.

I love this pencil. It makes it so easy to switch between colors. I haven't had to do any refills yet so we'll see how that goes.

I like the ease of using this pencil to mark lines on my quilting fabrics. The different colors are helpful. It means you can mark light or dark fabrics and still see the lines. Great marker for quilters or sewers.
