It works
Well, it works on my 11-year-old HP 842C DeskJet printer. If you need to print out a couple of thousand pages of, say, old Supreme Court cases for your own use, it'll suffice. But for anything which needs to look good, I'm afraid you'll have to pay HP's exorbitant prices. Here's what's wrong with this remarkably cheap cartridge:1. Several lines of print will be nice and dark, then one will be lighter, then the next darker again.2. Some lines of print will not be straight, typically leaning leftwards - that is, the opposite of italics (though at a lesser angle).3. Some lines will have both problems.4. It emits an ammonia-like smell - not overwhelming, but vaguely unpleasant.Pity.Edit: There's a partial fix for these problems: use the normal setting, not the draft. The print will still be a bit thicker than using the HP cartridge, but not too bad. The trade-off is that in normal mode, print will be much slower and of course will use more ink (but at this price, that's not a problem); and the smell is slightly stronger. So, maybe 3.5 stars, but as that's not possible, I'll leave it at 3 - 4 would be too high.

Cheap Price and Works Just Fine!
I was very skeptical at first. How can an ink cartridge only sells for $8.00 when the ones from the store cost 4x more? So I tried it out, it was great! I have a HP842 DeskJet. The ink works great, and I can't really tell the difference if it is this remanufactured ink or regular expensive ink. This is my second purchase of this $8 ink, well worth the money.TIP: I find that the type of paper you use DOES make a difference how the quality of the printed work comes out. I am a student, I print a lot of 1-sided reports for classes; and double-sided for class notes. I do not use the cheapest "lower end" printer paper or the "copy" paper. The paper I use is "Hammermill Multipurpose, 24 lb, 97 brightness". (For example, the store brand Target or Staples "multipurpose" paper pr "copy" paper sells for $5 a rim, this Hummermill goes for $9 a rim). The quality is very nice! Even for double-side prints, it does not "bleed" over to the other side, because of the "higher" quality paper. But yes, this ink will work just fine with a lower end paper.

Great Replacement Cartridge
HP 15 C6615DN Compatible Remanufactured Black Ink Cartridge I bought 2 of these through Eforcity. I am well pleased with this item. Please note on the packing that you may need to shake the cartridge and clean the contacts. Follow this bit of information and the cartridge works as well as the HP original. I'm still using the first of two since Nov 2011 doing moderate printing and still get excellent copies in draft mode on a HP Deskjet 812C.Highly recommended.Followup 15 Nov 15: Bought 2 from Toner Kingdom, 1 in Sept 2014 and another in Nov 2014 but since the original purchase from Eforcity I had not had to use these. Today I tried both cartridges in my HP Deskjet 810C which would not recognize either cartridge. I followed the 'prep' procedures, cleaning contacts, etc. to no avail. I got one cartridge to work for one printing but it failed on the second use. I repeated the 'prep' procedure again and even cleaned the contacts on the printer but nothing worked.I haven't contacted anyone for a replacement. As of today, my 1 year warranty expired. I also notice the seller has changed to OCProducts. Right now, the only positive comment is the ink wasn't dried even after all this time. Definitely disappointed to say the least.

Ink
Received very quickly. No leaking like others reported and it fit just as the HP15 did. Copies are clear and no different than when I printed with HP ink. Only complaint I have is that there is a strong ink smell for awhile after printing. I have never had this issue with HP. I have only used it for 2 weeks so I don;t know how long the ink will last.

Ink Cartridge dried up or empty
I ordered two of the same item. First one worked great. Put in second one less than a month later and it is dry as a bone. Because the return window has expired it is more costly for me to return the item and pay for additional shipping than to just toss it in the trash.

Way cheaper then new ink.
I bought this for my HP Deskjet 842C, it's an ancient printer lol. Our main Canon printer ran out of ink and the prices for one of those inks we're like $30-40!! There was nothing wrong with my old printer, it was just old. Boys like to play with new toys so we neglected the old printer. I did a comparison of the two printer's inks and to re-arm the newer printer it would cost between $50-60. So I bought the colour/black ink off Amazon for.. $18 lol. Much better option.Tested it on a coupon and it works perfectly. No problems thus far, will update if problem arises.

Shipment was lost and then came in damaged
I don't necessarily blame the shipper but this package made a very long trip to Missouri. When we finally received it one of the cartridges was leaking. I contacted the company and they are sending me a replacement. I installed the one that wasn't damaged and so far I am well pleased.

Works flawlessly
Ink cartridge vendors are always a risk, but I figured with the price of this product I was willing to give it a shot, especially given 100% 5-star reviews. The cartridge arrived promptly and works flawlessly! I'm going to go ahead and order another and a color one as well to have them on hand.Note that there's a little plastic tab on the cartridge that needs to be removed or your printer will keep saying it's out of ink and you may lose some hair trying to figure out why--just sayin', not that it happened to me or anything...
