Elastic Silicone No Tie Anchor Shoe Laces PK of 16pcs For Adults Shoes, Trainers

I bought a pack of these last year to go with my new trainers. I have a spinal condition and was having to tie my laces, throw my shoes down to the floor and then attempt to slip them on with a long shoe horn. It took forever and hurt me due to the way I needed to bend and I was screwed if the laces came undone whilst I was out. I felt like a child having to ask others to help. Anyway, these took no longer than 10mins to fit , I would say skip the first set of holes at the top and go right down to the next.I would also say lace up your shoes first and compare the width of each level to your lace replacements to decide which sizes to use before removing your old laces.I have been able to slip my trainers on with this since the first day - a massive help. They just go right on without any fuss. I have a lot of numbness in my feet which means I often fall out of shoes or trip up. The fit on these laces is unreal. Enough hive to let your foot in but not enough to let it out without a foot slipping out.I’ve had them over a year on the same set of shoes that I’ve worn 3-4x a week. They have survived numerous washing cycles at various heat settings and a chew by one of my dogs.I’ve actually just stopped by to buy two more sets for my new shoes and will never go back to laces again!I did buy a second set for my 5yr old son, a kids one. He was only a size 12 junior then but because of the width of his foot they were no good. He would have been better with an adult set I feel as there just wasn’t enough give for him to get them on but since he can pull his foot up to my thigh for me to tie them, we didn’t worry.

I bought these stretchy 'laces' to go in a pair of Converse because I was sick of stopping in the street to re-tie my shoelaces. One of my feet is fatter than the other and has always caused me problems with lace-up shoes - I could never gauge the correct tightness and was forever putting my foot up on people's garden walls and adjusting the laces. Eventually I decided never to buy lace-ups but, unfortunately, when looking for some brown summer sneakers, I couldn't find any of the right colour except for some Converse which, of course, were laced.The messing about eventually put me off wearing them until… I found these! They have just got to be one of the best inventions ever and they look absolutely great - just like real laces. They're even textured with a 'woven' pattern to look like real laces - unbelievable! Whoever invented these deserves a medal for ingenuity!Another reviewer did mention that they aren't really suitable for shoes with parallel lace holes, and they were right. I have had to miss out the first lace-hole because the tongue of the shoe was just too tight up against my foot but putting them in from the second lace-hole down has made them fit in much better. The shoes have six lace holes and I put them in from the longest, in the second hole down, which left three over. I've put them aside because you never know when you might need them for something else or some other shoes with more lace holes!I would highly recommend these to anyone who has shoe-lacing problems, whether it's for an inability to tie laces or just for comfort or appearance. They give the shoes a clean, neat look without those annoying flapping 'bows' which are so 'uncool' anyway and save all that messing about trying to hide the 'bow' by tucking it down the side of the shoe - a cause of many broken nails in my case! Get some - you won't regret it!

These are great! My mum has issues with her hands so tying/untying laces is a nightmare. Her feet also swell regularly so the laces would cut into them. However, these smart laces help on both counts. They are quite fiddly to get installed (hence the loss of a star) but, once done, they are great. They allow my mum to slip her feet in and out of her trainers with just a little effort but still feel secure enough that they’re not going to slip off whilst walking.

THESE NO-TIE SMART LACES HAVE ALLOWED ME TO WEAR A PAIR OF BLACK LEATHER HI-TOPS, BOUGHT A NUMBER OF YEARS AGO AND NEVER WORN BECAUSE OF THE DIFFICULTY IN FASTENING THE LONG LACES SUPPLIED. THE NEW WHITE SILICONE " LACES " LOOK SUPERB AGAINST THE BLACK LEATHER. SINCE THE HI-TOPS ARE EIGHT EYELET TYPE, I HAVE TO USE A SHOE HORN TO PUT THEM ON AND A WOODEN BOOT REMOVER TO TAKE THEM OFF ! I DON'T MIND, SINCE THE SHOE HORN AND BOOT REMOVER ARE BOTH IN THE BEDROOM AND THIS IS JUST A MINOR ANNOYANCE ( AND VERY WORTHWHILE ) ONCE THE BOOTS ARE ON, THEY FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE, THANKS TO THE ELASTICATED " LACES " I'M VERY GLAD THAT I CHOSE THIS PRODUCT !

I have a 2.5 UK /35 EU foot. And is narrow 'cause I'm quite slim. I used the laces from 1 to 6(those recommended for kids even though I bought the adults version) and I feel my shoes coming out. It probably depends on the type of shoe as well, but I'm not happy with my purchase. I'm going to put the laces back on until I find the ones that fit my feet.

Brilliant! I have a couple slipped discs so tying shoes laces is a really pain the back at the moment. So I thought I’d give these a shot to make life a little easier. Fitted them to a pair of Vans and they are spot on! Super easy to put my shoes on, look like normal laces, tension is perfect and no more asking the wife to tie my laces. Just order a bunch more for my other shoes.Oh, don’t worry about others saying they are hard to fit. They aren’t. I can only imagine they were trying to fit them while blind folded with one arm behind their back. So if your not a one armed blind dude it’s a doddle!

I think I destroyed every nail on my hands and ended up using pliers to get them through the holes! But once they were in they keep the shoe lovely and tight.Makes it so much quicker for my daughter to put her shoes on and the laces never come undone!Pretty fine purchase to be fair, if you can get past the frustration!
