MK-WS2-SP Tungsten Disulfide Dry Lubricant Aerosol Spray Can, 13 oz

I wish I knew about this lube a long time ago. This is a fantastic dry lube for use in metal applications. This WILL STAIN so be careful! Unlike teflon which can quickly wear/flake away in many applications, this forms a semi-permant bond and acts as a coating on the metal. In metal to metal applications where grease conventional oil cannot be used, this is the best product I have ever used.

Received on time but poorly protected in package (broken cap and small discharge of product in package) also disappointed that this can only be dispensed as a spray and not through a red tube for tight areas. Otherwise WS2 is the slickest stuff on earth just burnish it into your sub-strait.

As near as I can tell, the only difference between this and a spray can of graphite is that this cost 7 times as much . But at least it's not returnable.

You have to understand your dry lubricant properties to understand that at general ambient air temperature, low PSI and minimal friction this is going to work about as well as MS2 or graphite. If you are operating something under high pressure, high heat, etc., WS is a good film lubricant. So, this isn't going to be amazingly better than another dry film lube for a pair of hedge clippers, for example.

Outstanding spray film WS2 product. I use it for my crossbow rail and trigger assembly. Excellent coating characteristics and holds up very well. I will be trying this on other bearing and wear surfaces and update my review.

Great product works well for what I want to use it for I just wish you had a spray tube option to get into smaller holes

Doesn’t bond as well as I’d like it to. It ends up wiping off quite easily.
