MC2 Project Ultimate Spy Bag

Our daughter LOVED this kit. It comes in "easy packaging" so basically just regular cardboard so everything isn't glued down. Important to know though if packaging is important to you. This does not look like the one in the store, but the product is the same one as in the store. The kit comes with lots of fun gadgets for her to play with. Her favorite seems to be the lipstick gun. There is a powder you can make into a "perfume" but it doesn't really smell like anything. Our daughter was a little disappointed with that, but she sprayed some body spray in it and then tried to get the whole family to sample the perfume that she had concocted, haha. Overall, money well spent on a gift that she really loves.

This Mc2 Spy Bag was the very top thing on my granddaughter's Christmas list and I told my daughter I would love to get it for her. Well, evidently, it was a very popular item and I could not find it in stores. So, I went to Amazon and it was in stock. I received it way before Christmas...in great shape, packaged very well.My granddaughter was SOOOOO happy when she opened that gift! She stopped opening gifts and played with her Spy Bag for an hour or so. We finally had to ask her to stop playing with it so we could continue opening gifts.It's a very awesome kit full of fun, educational, interesting things to do and it's made very well.

This was so fun for my 11 year old daughter. She played with it a lot. The test tubes and containers are a sturdy plastic, and my daughter felt like she was a real scientist when she was doing the experiements. My only complaint was that it was very difficult to open initially. It took myself and my two 19 year olds about a half hour to figure it out. I told my 11 year old not to close it all the way because I was afraid she wouldn't be able to get it back open.

When a manufacturer of childrens toys offers something like this, at that price, they should have to buy one for every child in their acquaintance. It was expensive for no more than it was and I was an idiot to pay that much, even for my great0granddaughter, But then what are grandmothers for, even the great ones. Of which I am--one of the great ones as I buy stuff like this to shut the kid up mostly. and because I love her. god help me when she starts driving!

My daughter loves this kit. She carries it around and plays with all the little things. I only feel so - so about it. I'm glad I didn't pay full price or I would have felt ripped off. The lipstick gun and powder prints are pretty neat. We honestly won't use the test tubes for much. The expiraments outlined aren't very interesting. (lemonade?)

My 9 y/o loves this purse...it comes with everything except the lie detector and the voice recorder but that can be purchased on amazon as well...The experiments are easy to do and simple and has tools for the kid to do it successfully by themselves with adult supervision because i had to almost hide all of my baking soda and vinegar lol all of my tablets had powder and tape on them from her trying to be a detective but it is harmless and well worth the penny.

It's a fine toy, well put together and sturdy. The big draw for this I believe is that you can use it to take actual finger prints with the powder/ makeup that comes with the kit. Well good luck with that as my youngling and I tried several times with different techniques and tape etc. I finally just some standard dusting powder for her (white) and that worked very well. There are some other neat little gadgets with it but nothing so fantastical to warrant a $40 price tag. Pretty sure this will go to GoodWill by this time next year... we'll see.

Granddaughter loves this spy kit but as a grandmother I feel it was a bit overpriced for what you get. Bought 2 of them. One for a 7 year old granddaughter and one for a four year old granddaughter. Definitely something for an older child at least 7 years old. The four year old has hardly played with it
